Saw this info across the street, just wanna share with u guys.

Louisville came out of no where this season and looks to be a top contender. They are 4-0 thus far and have a very explosive offense, but just how explosive is it? Throughout the first 4 games of the season, the teams that Louisville has beaten have NO defense, look at these numbers;

Week 1 - Charlotte 42.3 PA / Rank 122
Week 2 - Syracuse 34.5 PA / Rank 106
Week 3 - Florida State 35 PA / Rank 108
Week 4 - Marshall 41.3 PA / Rank 121

WEEK 5 - CLEMSON 11 PA / Rank 5

Some will argue that Louisville has already proven that they can hang with tier 1 competition by defeating Florida State at home, but it seems that FSU isn't as good as everyone thought they would be with a freshman QB and horrible defense. I am not discounting Lamar jackson but I want to see what he can do against a top ranked defense before I go taking Louisville as a road favorite against another top 5 team. Especially in death valley which has proven to be a very tough place to win. Just some food for thought before you wager that hard earned money.

When I watch the Lamar Jackson look at see his speed and elusiveness. It's like video game speed set on 99. Valid points and I see Clemson containing him better than teams have this season.. Thing is you can only contain so much. I see Jackson still getting his.

Can't wait for the game

The under will be in play here with Clemson getting some stops and trying to play ball control and limit Louisville's possessions.

Give me a break. Those teams' defensive numbers are skewed by the fact they played Louisville.

Charlotte gave up 70 to Louisville along with 14 to Elon, 37 to EMU, and 48 to Temple
Syracuse gave up 62 to Louisville along with 7 to Colgate, 45 to SoFla, and 24 to Uconn
FSU gave up 63 to Louisville along with 34 to Miss, 8 to Charleston Southern, and 35 to So Florida
Marshall gave up 59 to Louisville along with 0 to Morgan State and 65 to Akron

so, Elon, Colgate, Charleston Southern, and Morgan State skewed the numbers just as much as Louisville. These defenses don't look very good according to these scores. Would need to factor the opponents average offenses as well...I will post that later if time permits

Seriously? Go look at the other teams they've played. FSU defense has not played well, huge hole against Ole Miss and still allowed 35 points and 450 yards to So Fla last week. Syracuse gave up 45 unanswered points to So Fla. Marshall let in 65 points to an average MAC team.

So no, we can't give you a break. Point stands that those defenses aren't playing well right now.

Kentucky homer here! I'm a UK fan an do hate the fact that Louisville is so damn good! Lamar Jackson is an absolute monster! His ability to run at that speed while being able to stop on a dime an shift left or right is just crazy! That being said, if you've ever truly watched him closely he struggles a bit with his accuracy on passing! He's been known to miss several wide open deep balls! I think that is going to show up Saturday in this top 5 showdown! I think Clemson will play a lot of man coverage on the outside while tryin to contain Jackson in the middle!! If they can do that then maybe Louisville gets knocked off their pedastal! I'm anxious to see how Jackson performs against a top notch defense! Should be a great game but I see Lamars accuracy being a huge factor in this game!

Then say that instead of using bogus numbers. I agree -- those defenses aren't playing well, but the numbers you cited do not give us much guidance in determining the extent to which UL's offense is good as opposed to the defenses being bad, since the bad defensive numbers are largely due to what UL did against those defenses.
