Looking at a teaser..... Detroit +16, o35.5, Giants +18 - opinions encouraged

Giants play @ Washington, yes we struggled VS philly but we always do at the Linc.

Giants will be looking to finish the season on a strong note headed into the playoffs. +18 should be as close to a safe bet as it gets. Over 3 TD's to a division rival. Giants are not the type of team that rests their starters or takes it easy. They may not show up to some games but they never play half speed. The one thing I noticed about Ben McAdoo is he is very much similar to Coach Coughlin when it comes to preparation and game day.


Is there anyway this Detroit game goes under 36? Seems very unlikely. Also with Detroit playing for their lives, it seems unlikely they lose by 3 scores.

Haven't pulled the trigger yet but I like this one.

Very unlikely it goes under 36. I expect Dallas to put up a lot of points playing at home after three low scoring (by their standards) performances against good defenses. I think they come out strong tonight. They probably still play most of their starters unless the game gets out of hand. I expect Detroit to play balls to the wall. With that said it's the NFL and you just never know. My guess is that it goes over, small chance it goes under. I'm on over 45 myself. I think it goes over 50.

Sorry I jumped the gun, it seems the Giants are contemplating resting it's starters. Should have been a red flag with the line opening at 5 and now all the way up to 8.


Will be looking to replace the Giants with another team.

Giants are locked into the 5 seed no matter what. I don't see what the upside is to playing the starters a full 60 minutes here even if Washington needs the game. I would rest everyone (essentially a bye week) and be ready in 2 weeks. Too early to tell what McAdoo's plan is.

I would just make one play on each, screw the teaser...or just pick your favorite and go with that one.

This is true, but it also reflected in the line (which would be way different if the G-Men had incentive). I don't have a side here (I haven't looked into the games hard yet), but obviously, the line very much reflects the motivation factor
