[h=3]LONELINESS is on the rise with more than one in eight adults saying they do not have a close friend - an increase on previous years, according to research.[/h]Almost seven million people in the UK - 13 per cent - do not have someone they would call a close chum, up from one in 10 (10 per cent) when the same question was asked in 2014 and 2015, charities Relate and Relationships Scotland say.
The charities' report, You're Not Alone - The Quality of the UK's Social Relationships, also found that almost half (45 per cent) of UK adults felt lonely at least some of the time and almost a fifth (18 per cent) felt lonely often or all of the time.

Based on a survey of more than 5,000 people, the report found that almost one in six (17 per cent) said they never (5 per cent) or rarely (12 per cent) felt loved.
On a positive note, the research found that 83 per cent of people in the UK enjoyed good relationships with their friends.
The most commonly reported number of close friends is two or three, with 18 per cent of people selecting each, while 6 per cent of people feel they have more than 10 close friends.

ummmmmm, I'm going to leave it at that (for now at least)

I think rape is disgusting. But if a Sandusky family member came looking for you, I'd probably make an exception and cheer him on.

Yet if your daughter was gang-raped by blacks, you'd make sure she was first in line at the abortion clinic.

You are very lame. I would smack you around and then bang your fat toothless wife as you cried in the corner.

Pretty obvious you're a weak, beta male. You get banned here and keep coming back with different names.....just like an annoying little bitch

Guess what they all have in common?

Dreams about attending sporting events with an "empty seat" next to them?

Hard to have friends when they are constantly invading your country and taking over. Islam is their friend now hahaha. Also, if you have kids and work your ass off you aren't going to have time for a lot of close friends. I had 200% more friends than I did when I was say 25. As I get older I realize most of them were just good acquaintances. I have more acquaintances than I did then but less "close friends" and I bet that's the same for most of us. Now these spiteful liberals are different. They don't got anybody real on their life and they have daddy issues hence why they are liberals in the first place

I'd say they have 3 core things in common.

I totally concur. We have my wife's large family that's always with us. Our lifelong friends, like people in our wedding that are still our best friends to this day. Our neighbors, our clients (they do love her, some more so than me :)), our colleagues, and like you mentioned, the parents our our kid's friends whom we socialize with 20 years later and we still share our children's lives together.

I can't even comprehend loneliness

Warmer!

1. Very limited intellects
2. Politically liberal
3. Angry shut-ins with limited social skills and few friends
