LOCKS AND GUARANTEES

This thread is being started in order to keep track of all "locks" and "guarantees" made by posters. This should be fun,and profitable besides.The word "lock" or "guarantee" should be mentioned in the subject line in order to qualify.
6-11-04 Shawn Gotti called Florida Marlins a lock. The play lost.
6-10-04 Shrink guaranteed that the Lakers would cash, but they lost to Detroit.
So far the faders are 2-0. Feel free to add any locks or guarantees that I might miss.

I forgot: Shrink said the Lakers are a "mortal lock" to win the NBA championship. This "lock" does not look good as of today.

Maybe someone should start a "lock of the day" thread.....all sports to be included in that thread.....bases, baskets, football, you name it...

....if you see a drop dead LITFD play then put it in that thread....maybe a little reasoning behind the play to sell it to the rest of us so we can cash in too....
