Big day at Gulfstream Park today including one of the best Derby preps, the Florida Derby.
Conditions at both Gulf and Tampa Bay are "fast and firm" so we should see several turf races. Not sure about Fair Grounds which again is not in my Form - the dirty rats.
Gulf starts at 11;30 AM because they have a 14 race card.
All are welcome to participate the only requirement being that you keep a running accounting of your play.
We welcomed a new guy to the thread last week, chammer. JoeB has been picking lots of winners and winning exactas. Me, I have to get back $140.00 that I blew yesterday.
Longshots are starting to run in. Spring and summer are the best times to handicap with better horses and fuller fields.
