Ok, many people have beaten down Bush including me. But I also hate seeing Democrats bitching about him for bitching sake. So I will start a list of what I have appreciated from Bush.

1. The $300 check we received early on
2. The National Do Not Call Registry

That is all I can think of as of now, but I am sure I have missed some things. I would say tax cuts but the increases in gas prices and local taxes have nullified what little I received in tax cuts. Plus the tax system is still too complicated, which I know is not Bush's fault. Also, tax cutting and war fighting smells of looting a nation to me.

Anyways I just wanted to take the time to be fair and give people a chance to remind those of us who may not like Bush a reminder that he is not all bad.

Nothing. I can't really think of anything he has done 'right'! He did give us all a lift after 9/11 when he went to the WTC site and put on a hardhat and talked into a cheerleading doohickie thing. Unfortunately, that quickly was overshadowed by his bloodthirst for war in Iraq! Actually, Afghanistan was first and that was a good thing, but allowing nOsama to escape into our friends country, Pakistan was a bad thing. I know I'll be accused by the conspiracists, but if you put a spin on that , you realize we may not have really wanted to get osama because then it would be hard to maintain support for other wars and/or commercials of wolves gathering, and needing a strong W who will defend you in time of war-which he creates.

That's a good start but I think this President has been very brave tackling tough issues such as ....SS,Tax reform, energy bill,Tax cuts, placing some qualified judges on the bench, war on terror........His downfall still will be the border issue. But history will judge him on how he kept the country strong after 9/11, and the Iraq war.

BRAVE? OMFG I can't believe you can even use that word in the same sentence with the CHICKENHAWK DRAFTDODGER IN CHIEF.
He will have a chance to be brave when he finally does the long awaited mea culpa and admits how he's sold this country down the drain. Until then see above.

I agree RW, history will judge this President, and they will wonder what this country could have been thinking to vote for this the worst President ever!

presidents are judged over time there are no quick fixes. its ben i while since clinton left office, cant think of anything he did right. the balanced budget was due to record tax revenu due to the internet boom and false accounting at corporations.

The budget still would not have been balanced without the effort by Clinton and Sr. They both realized the importance of it. It did not happen solely by chance.

Maybe a time of peace and prosperity mean nothing to you all because you have to give Bill Clinton credit! I suppose you all were living in caves in the 90's like osama and missed all of that good stuff that happened while Bill was President! Or more likely just can't stand to give a good , intelligent President credit when you have your favorite Warmongering, lying version in the White House right now! Hell, your boy couldn't be extemporous if he tried! Count his press conferences on your hands and feet!:sad3: Those with 'Fox News' don't count!:lolBIG:

It's time for Cheney to take over Bush, Bush is way too liberal. Bush may appoint a radical liberal to the bench to appease the left wingers. It makes no sense

If I was answering this genuinely I'd respond like mjaytee about the $300 bribe and the chance to hear the phone stop ringing.....

If it was of the sarcastic/cynical variety as I usually do and that eek normally takes and so easily and justified in doing so....you gotta admit there's a lot of material for guys like Dennis Miller to crow about........

....then the list could reach into the hundreds.....

He dresses well and keeps us safe. He also likes country music and he is not afraid to go to war. He also loves us. These are important things.
