Record so far 9-2

I don’t have long write ups, but I put in what I think is necessary and you can make up your mind from there. Went 5-0 last weekend, with a few half time plays on college and pro that I hit, which aren't added into my total. This season has started off way better for me than it did last year. Let’s hope this trend will continue.

Friday

I'll start with Kansas at SFlorida. Kansas played lights out last year; unlike they have ever played before, however I don’t expect this trend to continue. Last week they played LaTech and gained 538 total yards to LaTech’s 267 and only won 29-0! Reesing was 32-38 (10.84 attempted and 12.86 yards completed) for 412 yards! What a performance, but the lack of actual points leads me to believe they will not keep a winning trend. SFlorida put up similar numbers, however playing a much more difficult team. They had 504 total yards with 346 passing yards. The score was close; however I don’t believe that SFlorida was entirely focused on UCF. SFlorida is playing outside of their conference and again wants their chance to show they can against anyone, just like they did against Auburn. Expect Grothe to beef up his passing efficiency and hand Kansas their first loss of many.

SFlorida -3.5

For now im leaning towards
Ark +24
Rice +7
GaTech +7

You obviously did nto watch the USF-UCF game. It is a huge rivalry game and I would compare the atmosphere I saw to an Alabama-Auburn game. There was emotion galore on both teams and they took it ot OT.

It will be tough for USF to repeat that 2 weeks in a row, especially against a team as good as Kansas. And they are very good and have not hit on all cylinders yet. Gonna disagree here. Good Luck.

Because they are in state, usually makes them rivals, yes. But they have only played 4 times and SFlorida is 4-0. Sometimes, schools play up the rivalry more than the players do. For example, Texas v A&M used to be a big rivalry, does Texas think A&M is their rival anymore, not really, does A&M? Yes. Last year, SFlorida humiliated UCF 64-12, and UCF wanted to make a statement this year, at their year old stadium infront of the largest croud they have ever had. I did watch this game and it looked like they had total control and thought they could just cruise in the fourth.

Last year, when Kansas did very well they played A&M one of the WORST pass defenses they probably saw all year. Reesing threw for all of 180 yards in 33 attempts with 21 completions. I believe Kansas is severely overrated and everyone will soon realize. I may be wrong, but I guess we'll see on Friday when they play a better/faster pass defense this year. GL however you play it.

I say pop in those Rice and GT bets. They look very solid to me. I'm considering SF but haven't pulled the trigger yet.

Saturday

Last week Arkansas barely beat LaMonroe 28-27 with a come from behind win. The stats didn’t show this as Arkansas netted 506 total yards gained with 323 of those yards in passing. Casey Dick threw 22 of 34 for 323 yards with 2 TD’s (9.5 attempted and 14.68 completed). They allowed LaMonroe to new 341 total yards with 270 of those yards through the air. Michael Smith had a decent game as usual on the ground getting 157 yards on 22 attempts averaging 7.1 yards. This will be the last year for Casey and the last year for Arkansas to play against Texas. Texas played UTEP last week and was out gained 412 – 404 total yards. UTEP was able to pass for 267 yards against the struggling pass defense of Texas. UTEP was also able to gain 145 yards on the ground. UTEP was able to hold Texas to 122 yards rushing. This will be Texas first real test against a decent team with a good passing offense. Until Texas can prove they can stop the pass, I’ll have to go with the passing offense.

Arkansas +24

Also took GaTech i'll have a write up in a little bit.

Thursday

UNC vs Rutgers. Both of these teams defenses gave up huge numbers. UNC to MCNEESE STATE! UNC’s offense netted 384 yards while their defense gave up 391, 239 yards from the passing game. Rutgers gave up even more against Fresno state, 422 yards, 216 from passing and 206 from rushing. Their offense was also able to get going with 369 total yards. Both UNC and Rutgers offense can put up yards against a bad defense. Lucky enough this week, they are playing each other who both are having problems on defense. I’m just hoping that Rutgers can put up the points. They had problems against Fresno, but this isn’t Fresno, this is UNC who gave up 27 points to McNeese State!

OVER 45

Other games i took:
GaTech +7
Baylor +1

Leans:

I think it's funny that WISCY is -2 but hey if it takes that to cover a line, GET EM!

GTech is an awesome team I'd like to play on, I missed out last week because I didn't know how BC's defense would react.

Baylor... well... I'd have to say I wouldn't bet on them. Cuz I'm a BIG 12 guy. GL.

Well Wisc is a big lean because i dont trust the WAC and i try to bet on any games they are in as little as possible. Never know what the WAC teams are gonna do.

LOL and I know Baylor, hard to bet on Baylor (went 3-9 last year, 0-8 in conference), they tend to play well out of conference and if the team is not ranked... I guess we will see how it goes

Official plays for this week so far:

Thursday:
UNC vs Rutgers over 45 (WIN)

Friday:
SFlorida -3.5

Saturday:
Maryland +14.5
GaTech +7
Rice +8.5

I took Baylor and Arkansas, but both games were postponed. Decided against taking Baylor again. Also after looking further into the WISC vs Fresno, i decided to stay away. Liking the dogs this week. Rice and GaTech, i feel, have a great chance at winning straight up. GL to all
