Of the 3 potential opponents, any guesses on the spread?

Seattle
Rams
Vikes

Perhaps Minnesota will have the lowest handicap, despite their lower seed status?

Seattle +9.5
Rams +10.0
Vikings +8.5

Or at least that's what I'd make it. If it was +10.5 or higher I'd take the dog.

Hope your moneyline on the Vikings is accurate. Philly will absolutely destroy them.

BTW...If Rams and Vikings both win their playoff games, who goes to Atlanta?

St. Louis goes to Atlanta if they both win. Vikes as a 6 seed will come see us if they win.

Lines are close...Minny pulling off the W at GB should open as a 8.5/9 dog and I would think the line would be close to 10 by kick.

sportsbet,

I know you are a diehard Eagles fan and would like to know your opinion on the status of the Eagles without T.O.. I was at the Rams/Eagles game two weeks ago and felt they had a solid touchdown drive on their one first team possession. The thing I also took away from the early game play of their starters was that their problem is more on the defensive line with Simon and Thomas banged up. If a team in the playoffs were to have the discipline to run the majority of the time like the Rams did with Steven Jackson on their first drive (10 plays, 10 runs, 1 touchdown), they may be in some big time trouble trying to play from behind. I also was not impressed with their last 4 games as offense sputtered in all 4. Vikes and Rams could give them some huge problems in a shootout and Falcons #1 ranked rushing offense will more than exploit that weakeness. Any opinions?

This is the healthiest the Eagles D-line has been in 3 years. Only guy hurt is ND Kalu and he was hurt in the preseason. Everyone else is healthy and fresh.

I was also at the game in St. Louis Kojak and I will tell you that first drive against the Rams 1st defense that resulted in the TD in the dome was just a sneak peek of what is to come. The birds have been running very vanilla gameplans the last 2.5 weeks (2nd half of Dallas, Rams, Bengals) and this team will be very focused and determined and ready to go next week against the Vikes. I don't expect McNabb to implode like Farve did today against this defense. Brett's NFL experience is running out of gas and that was evident today.

We have problems stopping the run and that is well documented but I don't expect the Vikes to be able to exploit it (other than Culpepper). The thing about Dante is that we have a guy in 5 that the defense practices against every week so a mobile QB plays into the hands of what our defense is used to. If you look at the QB's that have embarrassed us they have been Brady and Manning types. We've stopped Culpepper, we've stopped Vick....to tell you the truth the only team left that really bothers me is St. Louis with Bulger but if the Rams could only muster 20 points at home against our backups (ok the first TD was nice but the other 13 was Ram 1st team O vs Eagle 3rd team D) there really isn't much left to fear.

The Vikes will be competitive but it took a lot for them to win at Lambeau today. I think we can matchup against them like we did in week 2 and win this game. Double digit line? I figured it right around that by kickoff so I probably won't play the side.

To Jacksonville! Good luck with your plays.

Wharf is correct btw the D Line has healed up well and the rotation will be intact for Minny next week.

Thomas is a bigger loss than Simon to me because Hollis can be the bigger runstopper of the two. We rotate enough D Linemen in and out where they should all be fresh for most of the game.

Good luck!
