Head coach Mike Riley announced Tuesday that Brent Bridges, Joe Rudulph, Anthony Wheat-Brown and Whitfield Usher won’t play in the Insight Bowl as further punishment for their part in separate bar fights at the Headline Cafe.

Flanker Wheat-Brown is the only starter amongst the group. The Beavers remain a 3 ½-point chalk

I have to hand it to Coach Riley to have the balls to bench these clowns.

Interesting article about how disinterested the chrome domes are in playing this game. Will they show up and play a serious game?

ND isn't very good, but don't kid yourself with the Beavers. This is probably their weakest team in the last few years.

Love Ore St also, they played the toughest schedule in div. 1 this season.

im not sure if everyone is familiar with this - but...according to my local news (i live in eugene), formal charges were filed against one of the players by the district attorney on monday or tuesday of this week. it is possible that it might null his scholarship - granted his is not a starter though - meaning little to the handicapping world.
