Well at least this weeks Update is a good one, Last week going 4-0-1 and now have a Total of 17.5 Points in the LVH Super Contest..
Crazy because hitting over 70% and currently out of the Money !

Anyway.... What did we Learn last week in the NFL ??

We Learned that the Houston Texans are Really, Really... Really Bad
even Worst with Mallet under Center.

We Learned that< Don't count the Bears out just Yet...
at the same time, Start Counting KC out ... because they are Not a good team, and now Worst losing their Best player on the Team, Jamael Charles

Also learned that the Seahawks can play shitty and Win, or Play Great and Lose
and that the Bengals have Heart, and dalton is still good during the Regular Season

We also learned that the Falcons can be Beat... or Almost Beat

We Learned last week that Philly just might not be done ... Beating a Very Bad Saints team

We also Learned, Don't Bet on the Rams when you Think they will Cover... Bet on them when Maybe they will cover

We also learned , Don't count out the Buffalo Bills.. but then again they beat Tenn. and are now Out their Star QB

We Learned that Dallas and the Lions sucks... and the Pats are, well Business as usual and the Cardinals Bounced back nicely

and we learned that the NYG can't lose all their games in the last 3 minutes of a game...

First game up this week .... Atlanta vs. New Orleans

Line opened at -2.5/-3, total 51

Brees 7-2 the last 7 vs. Falcons at Home

I bet Atlanta on Sunday at -3 thinking the line would move to 3.5 and 4. It did but i'm not as confident. Out of nowhere Freeman turned into god and I fully expect his success to continue against NO. Julio visibly looked uncomfortable and now on a short week he wont be healthy for this game. At some point we are going to look at this Atl team and realize they are pretenders. Ryan threw 2 picks and lost a fumblelast week all on was side of the field. The kicker missed 3 fg's. Maybe a fluke, but Wasington was able to get pressure against an o-line that hasn't been very good in recent history.

I really like 3 dogs in week # 6 :

Washington +6
Pittsburgh +3
Miami +2

All 3 could easily win SU.

I would put atl & cincy in if their using less then 3 for contest.
Short road faves always bite me, but on these 2 personally.
Guys are kicking ass! keep grinding away, 1wk at a time.

I kind of like them myself. Not sure I will use them in the LVH, but will probably play them on a wager. Just waiting for the line to move just a bit.
Last time in the Playoffs, Seattle beat a Banged up Cam. Before that in seasons past, those match-ups were close.

Panthers really haven't beaten anyone... But I can see it being close with a Healthy Cam Newton

Don't want to sound like a Homer here, but I think the Jets beat the Skins here.
Washington has to be one of the worst "jekyll and hyde" teams in the NFL ... Which Skins team shows up ??
Plus they have lost both Road games this season, and already Lost at Met Life

Also can't see the Steelers beating the Cardinals. I see AZ with at least 2 picks, 3-4 Sacks and probably a fumble on Pitt
also can't see them stopping Az from scoring.

But I do like Miami some...
New Coaches... New Feel = Happy Players

Tenn showed Heart last week, but don't think it will be enough

I never Personally use a Thursday Night Game for the LVH. ( meaning my Solo Entry )
Because I feel there is too much injury Reports and Info that comes in on a Friday. and I do a lot of reading articles

As far as Cincy.. I lean that way. Taylor Out, Manuel In... not sure if he will be ready. Also would like to see what's doing with Williams & McCoy, both listed as Questionable
So they will be looked at

Thanks & GL

I was surprised to see CIN pk early on, but now that it has crossed 3, no need to hurry and will just wait to see the status on Taylor, McCoy, Williams and Watkins. If both RBs are out, I expect CIN to win this game rather easily because their defense is just to good to be beat by a one dimensional offense, esp. since Watkins probably wouldn't be at 100% and Harvin is overrated anyway.
ARI -3 looks to easy, too, if Vick starts again: They should be able to move the ball almost at will against that (passing) D and their defense has been great, so facing an offense led by Vick, they could stack the box and pressure them all day long.
I also like MIA ML (mad at myself for not grabbing +3 early on, TEN isn't blowing out anyone), BYE means extra prep time, they get some players back/healthy, they are better than what they've shown, new coaching staff can't be worse than the old one, no more excuses for the players and the coaching change should change that locker room, almost seemed like they were playing against their coach(es). TEN since week 1 hasn't done anything, couldn't even hold off BUF at home last week despite a 10pts lead late in the 3rd quarter at home vs a decimated Bills offense missing Watkins, Shady and Karlos Williams.
Last one I like: Jets/Skins under 42. Both like to run, both have been great at stopping the run. Jets also know how to take care off the ball, not turning it over and WSH so far also has relied on field position and their defense. With Desean maybe back, Skins would have a bigplay threat, but Jets with their great secondary should negate that. Just don't see either team gaining big yards, but grind it down the field, relying heavily on avoiding turnovers, their special teams & defense, gaining field position. Lots of running would also keep the clock running and shorten the game.
