I lost my bankroll on a STUPID bet two days ago chasing some money I had lost earlier in the day. Loaded up on over 0.5 goals in the 2nd period of the Blackhawks-Red Wings game after a scoreless first period. I lost.

I realized I guess it's not a totally unreal bad beat, but I loaded up after a scoreless first thinking there would be a few goals in the second.

And I don't want bad poker beats, just sports betting. I suck at making threads.

Too many to tell. Definition of a bad beat to me is one that should be in the bag and you still end up losing.

i.e. You have the Over 9 runs in bases and 8 get scored in the 1st 3 Innings and that's it. Final 5-3.

Or you have a NBA prop with Kobe over 30 pts and he has 28 at the end of the 3rd and Phil sits him for the entire 4th.

Those are the beats you can't sleep well with.

I could fill 50 pages of this thread with bad beats. How about the asshole from G'twn throwing the ball towards the hoop (no look by the way while running of the court) oh did I mention it was a 3 pointer and I lost by 1 point!!!!

Can't think of a specific time, but for me the worst are INT's returned for TD's with less then a minute to go. I am never on the winning end of these.

Way to numerous to count but i do like to tell this story of 1 of them.

When they 1st put the horse betting channel on T.V. i already had accounts at WWTS,Pinny, youbet,etc. Me and a friend of mine walk into the house and a race at Keeneland was about to start....i tell him about how i bet them from home...he says show me...so i ck out the race and there are 2 horses from the Fairgrounds who came out of some tough races and the rest of the field looked so-so...i made an Exacta box for $40 on these 2 horses...but when i hit confirm it said i bet it 1 way for $40 and the other way for $4...i tried to do it over but it was 2 late their off!! we watch the race, i had like 3-5 for 40 and out the gate its 3-5, 1st turn its 3-5, stretch is 3-5 !!! And i mean just as they hit the wire, the very last step they took, the 5 stuck his nose in front....The only step in the race he was in front.....i think the EX pd like 15 bucks so instead of $300 i got $30. The guy turns around like"alright you won"...and im laying on the floor about to cry or puke or both.....lol
