Well here we go again....

For those of you that have followed, you know that i pay very close attention to what goes with the teams around my area, mainly the Big Ten, and the MVC...

Tonight's "local" play, will be

Creighton (-3)


The BlueJays, are much like Northern Iowa in the fact that they are better shooters, and much more athletic than the Sycamores are....

We saw what happened when Indiana state went up against that style on Saturday, and the same thing will very well happen tonight...

On a neutral court, Creighton would be at least a 7-8 pt favorite in this game, and the only reason we get it this cheap is because it is in Terre Haute, however, that isnt much of a home court advantage, due to the fact that this team is so slow and methodical, and basically boring, the crowd tends to get bored as well....You dont get the rousing, cheers, and stuff like at a lot of stadiums, therefore, its not a "tough" place to win on the road...

Creighton defends better, shoots better, runs better, and rebounds better...

That all combines for a victory tonight, and an easy cover of this (-2) spread...

But I have went 4-0 on these "local" plays I have posted, and i dont post them everyday, only when something jumps out..

I also posted a nice second half winner on saturday, that I found, based on some foul problems for the other team.....

Been a pretty good run lately, lets hope it continues

Buck... Im at the other end of the state and like you watch Mo Vally...Big 10 and Mac.... Very close.

Like you I like Jays....I got a chance to watch them Sunday and lose to a very solid S Ill.... Jays biggest problem is there inside game.... But I dont think Ind St has much inside.
In the mac Im on C mich +.....NW +...N Iowa -....
In the Evill game I like S Ill but the home court will scare me off...

Indiana state started out hot hitting 8/11 shots, which is amazing for them, and got a 26-20 lead...

But they are coming back to reality now, and Creighton has run off 5 in a row, to close to 26-25 ISU, with 5 to go

well its not good news this time...
ISU has gone on a 9-0 run to get within 1 at 43-42



But hopefully we weather the storm like the first half, and move on..

ISU has had to use a lot of energy to get back in it, plus they have 1 starter with 3 fouls, and aonther with 4....

ISU holding better than i thought they could, but hopefully we wear them down...their center has already fouled out...

accoriding to the announcers their have been a couple of real questionable calls go towards ISU, hopefully refs will make up for it...
