I voted for Bush because there was no other acceptable alternative for me.
As a matter of fact, my vote was more of an anti-Kerry vote than a pro-Bush vote; I voted for Bush because I couldn't stomach the idea of Kerry as President; in my opinion Kerry is an untrustworthy turncoat.

I also understand that a lot of people voted for Kerry because they'd take anyone but Bush. They hate Bush and would vote for just about anyone else.

I have fun on this forum insulting the other end of the spectrum, while they hurl insults at me. This is what makes America great - that many of us can be on opposite sides of the political spectrum, sling mud at one another, and then share a beer as we watch a ballgame together.

What's my point?

Well, President Bush has another 4 years in office before he's replaced. There's also a mid-term election coming up in 2 years.

The Republicans have taken over both houses of the congress and look to be solidifying their base with some Blue states in danger of turning Red.

This does not look good for the Democrat Party!

Such considerations have me concerned about the long term health of some of our posters - more often than not, some of our more ardent Democrat supporting posters appear to be on the verge of a heart attack or worse - one of our UK friends has already turned to alcohol, and another poster from the South is starting to develop ulcers. Our friend to the North seems ok - but anyone who lives that far North must suffer from some form of mental dementia. And then there are our comrades from the Las Vegas area - all gambling addicts in need of government support.

I guess that my point is that Patriot and Gameface and others that aren't suffering from debilitating mental diseases have to be more considerate of the feelings of those who are less fortunate. I know that I'd be disconsolate if Kerry had won.

We should extend our sympathy to our less fortunate friends; after all, it was only 26 years ago that Jimmy Carter was the President and the Democrats were in firm control of both houses - what a horror show! And the Demoocrats could be in charge again in another 26 years!

So, please guys, I'm begging you to have a little understanding and sympathy for our less fortunate friends. Let's all try to be a little bit more considerate!

Classic!!

bblight telling everyone to be Considerate is almost as funny as watching Bush try to answer the following: "name 3 mistakes ya made in the first term?"

A great comment from bb coulter: I have fun on this forum insulting the other end of the spectrum, while they hurl insults at me.

Ghees, you would seem to know what an Insult is based on some of your most recent commentary within the last 24 hrs:

*Doc, you're nothing more than a bottom feeding, life sucking leach - a parasite!

*Hey Jinn - I'd have to see your dd214 before I'd believe you - I think you're a liar and a left wing flea bag!

Gonna pass on that fabulous offer of yours .. you like to slam me every chance ya get ... put on the body armor, amigo, as what goes around usually comes around<!-- / message -->

Doc - those were friendly slaps on the back!

The way I look at it, if you're not adult enough to take a few jabs - then you shouldn't be passing them out.

I've run into your type before - bully boys spitting on other peoples thoughts and concepts and then crying foul when the same thing happens to them.

Doc - if you want to spew your brand of trash, then you have to expect to get a little bit hurled back at you!

Quit being such a cry baby and making empty, baseless threats!

Kaya:

that is funny ....

bblight actually writes comedy for a living .. remember that knee slapper when Bush looked under the podium: "nope, cant find any WMD's under there .."

That defined the man ... he lies to send our kids into combat and 1200 of em have died so far ...

Bush is a disgusting form of leadership ...

kaya - I never looked at myself as a nerd! Way back when I was a bad assed street corner punk - but marriage and kids grew me up real quick.

Is bookish like a nerd? If so, then I guess I'm a nerd.
