zeeman is my new favorite douche bag. I'm so sick of hearing people bitch about that fn tampa bay game. GD I'm glad philly won it....and it cost me money twice.

Learn the fucking rules people. If you're too lazy to learn the rules, then guess what........they still apply to you. Live with what you're dealt.

I'm ashamed to hear that 5d cancelled bets. That really changes what I think about them. I don't understand how you can go against what you have written clearly in your rules. (this did not have any affect on me) and I only know through the rumor mill that they graded it a no bet so forgive me if I'm wrong.

Yeah, no kidding. If 5 Dimes really did that, I have lost all respect for what I thought was a good book. This is a deal breaker. Need to find out if it's true.

Talking to some of the big boys today, its something they
just had to do.There was such a big uproar, that some people, books felt that it was just better to give them this one game credit rather than lose
a good,good customer.
Think about it,would you rather lose a whale over one game or keep him happy and give him credit for a tie.
In the olden days the customer was always right.
It still applies to some people.

As for Zeeman,hes a sick,sick person.He needs help.

What did 5D do ?

sounds like they paid Philly ML, as they should, then gave a push to those that bet TB. If so, that's very nice of them, and good PR.

They've paid both sides of badly written props before, but that's chump change compared to a WS game.

If they called all ML bets a push... that's just wrong.

Did everybody get graded the same ?

How are people not complaining everywhere if they pushed on Philly bets ?

I agree if they (5d) paid philly ML and cancelled tb then hats off to them. They went out of the way to keep folks happy.

Maybe that's what they did or else we'd hear lots of bitching and moaning about it.

I still say stick to the rules. Anybody who you lose for following your own rules is not worth having to start with in my opinion.

I will say that sticking to these rules is much easier for post up operations than for credit operations for obvious reasons. Hence the old, "I'm not paying because I did not know that rule" excuse.

Can anyone tell me if Philly ML wagers did NOT get paid anywhere immediately after the suspension was announced?

If any book did this, these are the shops that need to be downgraded.

As far as Zeeman, who cares, I've stated I'm through with him regarding this issue. No need to bash a poster, it's the mods job to justify either merging his threads and/or stating to him that he has gone way overboard on this issue in terms of crying and being an attention whore.......especially for being 100% wrong on this issue.

For being such a whiner and thread whoring.

Douchebag,

Nice thread. I deserve everything I've got coming. I did go a little overboard. Thats the passionate side of me. At least I can admit I'm a sick moron. But lets face it many on this forum are moron's, but are in denial or too stupid to realize it. Hat & $tinky are the first 2 that come to mind. Buster is a hypocrite by piling on. He is one sic fck. Greenhead, thanks for the kind words, besides being very very sick, I'm kinda cursed. Illini might be a little nuts, but I respect him. I also respect Fishhead, he's given me a few winners in the past. The main problem is I know a bad rule when I see one. I just couldn't understand how many wouldn't admit this. I understand the books had to grade by the rule, but many of you are too stupid to understand that the rule needs to be changed.

P.S. Fish, Illini - Who's the play in the Iowa-Illinois game. I remember Illinois lost last year in the slop mainly because Zook allow Iowa two redo's on 3rd down by accepting two different penalties.

VERY tough game and very tough to handicap.

Iowa is the better team right now, HOWEVER the Illini are at home and in a huge REVENGE mode as you stated. Plus, Iowa has Penn State as a look ahead game.

Very, very tough..........to tough for me to pick a winner.

Fish,

I recall everything went against Illinois last year. Besides the game being at Iowa, Iowa stout D, with the help of the sloppy conditions really slowed down the Illini offense. With the game at Illinois this year, along with the revenge factor I like Illinois.

P.S. Fish, I appreciate your no need to bash zeeman comment. That comment shows me you have a lot of class. Besides my respect, I also believe your a class act. Thanks
