Lebron's Triple Double

WOW ... 52pts, 11 assists, 10 rebounds

I figured this would have been the highest scoring triple dub in NBA history, but apparently not .... King James was the 1st player to have a triple double with 50+ pts since Kareem in 1975. I assume Wilt also had some triple doubles with 50 or more ... nonetheless, what an amazing performance by Lebron in NY!!

Lebron was better and its not close.

Not only are the numbers far better, 9 less points, but 10 more boards, and 8 more assists. But he did it in a close game where he need all of the points to win.

Kobe played 8 less minutes than LeBron did.... therefore: Kobe's 61 is more impressive IMO.

Not trying to take any credit away from lebron or kobe, both had a great game. but....

that MSG stat for most points scored was pretty dumb record imo. because its a whole different NY team than it was 20 years ago. its a different team than it was 1 year ago. the knicks of today arent about defense i think that shows big time with b2b games and giving up this many points (regardless if they are 2 of the best in the game today) thats dantonis style, out score the other team, all offense. but again the nba is a business and they promoted this rivalry of whose better with barely trying. there was an article in the news paper and on espn about lebron playing at the garden tonite, and im sure there will be another one tommorrow. Nice job of the advertising on their part

and just for the record i would take lebrons numbers over kobes anyday
