He continues to get the hype and all the press but in reality Cleveland's Lebron James is in some way nothing more than a mere image of Shaquille Oneill himself. The guy can't and won't bring a champiohship to the city of Cleveland like Jordan did in Chicago and Kobe has done on the coast. James is a big guy, very big in fact but speed and the moves to accompany that speed, he simply doesn't have and he cannot match the finesse of players like Bryant, Wade and even Orlando's own Josh Howard. A lot of bettors wagered and lost tonight on the Cavs tonight simply because they were and got caught up on the James hype and thought he would basically in some way lead, carry or will his team to victory, thereby forcing a seventh and deciding game back in Cleveland on Monday.
LeBron James doesn't have that character and that was clearly proven tonight as the Magic took this game over from the outset and never looked back. This game was basically over and done with after the first quarter. James is a very good NBA basketball player but before he can capture audiences the way Wade and Bryant and those types of players can and have done, he'll need some help and the Cleveland Cavs don't possess that one player or players that can aid James in his quest. The Orlando Magic had or have too much, way too much talent for Cleveland and they completely demonstrated that fact tonight as they sent James and the rest of the Cavaliers out to pasture in quick and relatively easy fashion.
As in all sports, the regular season in the NBA means squat. Now if only teams like Cleveland and others would come to recognize that fact, not to mention us bettors as well.
Finally congrats to the Orlando Magic and their wagering backers tonight as the better team won with relative ease and will in turn provide a much better opponent for the LA Lakers in the end.
So lets move on and put an end to this pathetic sport and its' season once and for all!
I mean who really cares who wins---right?

sorry, lbj is nothing like shaq. completely different styles. there is no comparison. i'll admit that last nite's game was dissapointing, but the 2 players are completely opposite in their styles. compare lbj to bird, magic, oscar,or jordan, guys who controlled the ball. true you can say he's not as good. but to comare his to shaq? not the same type player. shaq should be comared to dominant centers (wilt, kareem, russell, reed etc.) jmo.:ohno:

agreed....and everyone needs to give the guy a break. Everyone keeps saying he is NO jordan...he is NO kobe...HE IS A CHILD is what he is...what people are forgetting is how Jordan got into the league in 84' and didn't win a title til 91. So what's the big deal?? Kid is gonna eventually get some help (like Bird, Jordan, Magic, Kobe, Shaq ALL HAD) and he is gonna win a handful of titles. He IMO will go down as the best player to ever play the game IF he can find that killer instinct that all the greats had. That is something that takes a few years to get. WIn 1 title and gain that killer instinct and watch how quick you will have 6. Ask Mike....

makes no sense your ripping shaq and saying kobe brought titles to the west? those titles were because of shaq, he also won in miami too. kobe hasnt won by himself yet. just wait until lebrons the same age as kobe, it will be scary.

Shaq hasn't done shit without megastars like Wade, Kobe, or even Penny Hardaway when they went to the finals. Give me a break. Also, give Lebron a break. It's still early and he is already dominating. People expect too much of him.

Can't Stand Shaq

He dominates w/one thing: SIZE! That's it, his skill level is a joke compared to, Kareem, Olijawan (sp), Wilt & Russell. Sure Wilt was huge too, but he was also an athlete. Shaq is just a big dummy, who can run over much smaller players. :>(

The sad part about this is now we have to listen to an entire off season of "where will Lebron go?" You can bet that he will jump ship after this fiasco. he has no team behind him, and the coaching was just terrible. Will he go to New York? Stand by for months of B.S.

As far as who cares? Count me in as one who hopes that someone sweeps the final series, and we get this sick season over with. Unfortunately, I remember the 80's, and Magic vs Byrd. That is when teaqms were teams, and hoops was at it's best. Now, they drag kids out of high school. Kids that have no business playing in the NBA. The product is terrible compared to the 80's.

Lebron has a bunch of scrubs on his team and kobe is actually surrounded by a pretty good team. Take Lebron off the Cavs and put Kobe on it and they arent close to being a 66 win team and they sure as heck wouldnt be in the finals. Then we can see what kind of closer Kobe is. Its easy to be a closer when you have other players who can step up, play defense, and make shots and even allow you to rest. This isnt to say Kobe isnt a great player and a fierce competitor, he just has it much easier.

didnt read past here

shaq always hyped himself up, the media hypes lebron up

its all marketing you have to sell there image and attach a product with it, companies pay big bucks to have a player endorse their product, thats all it is
