The questions that Special Counsel Robert Mueller handed to President Donald Trump's lawyers have been leaked.

Mueller recently sent the list of nearly four dozen questions to Trump's lawyers amid ongoing negotiations about what topics the President might address if he agreed to meet with investigators, reported the New York Times, which first published the list.

The questions are wide-ranging and open-ended. They focus not only on alleged links between the Trump campaign and the Russian government, which was Mueller's original investigative mandate, but also heavily on Trump's thoughts and actions after the election.

Eighteen of the questions focus on Trump's May 2017 decision to fire former FBI Director James Comey. Thirteen are about alleged campaign links to Russia, eight are about Attorney General Jeff Sessions, and five are about former National Security Advisor Mike Flynn.

Mueller also wants to ask Trump what his 'reaction' was after Comey briefed him on January 6, 2017 in Trump Tower about the claims in the Democrat-financed 'dirty dossier', which alleged that Russia had compromising information on Trump.

Trump has not yet formally agreed to sit down with investigators for an interview. Advisors have warned it could be a perjury trap, and Trump's lawyers have been negotiating topics

Other questions ask about Trump's reaction to Session's recusal from the Russian election interference investigation, and his decision to fire National Security Advisor Mike Flynn in February 2017.
The questions reveal publicly for the first time that the FBI may suspect Trump's former campaign chairman, Paul Manafort, of 'outreach' to Russia during the presidential election.

'What knowledge did you have of any outreach by your campaign, including by Paul Manafort, to Russia about potential assistance to the campaign?' one question reads.
Manafort had not been publicly accused of contact with Russia during the campaign.
He has pleaded not guilty to tax fraud charges unrelated to the election, which Mueller brought in the course of the probe, and denies any involvement in Russian election interference.
One question asks what discussions Trump may have had regarding 'any meeting with Mr. Putin,' referring to Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Another question asks what the president may have known about a possible attempt by his son-in-law, Jared Kushner, to set up a back channel with Russia before Trump's inauguration.

Additional questions center on Michael Flynn, Trump's former national security adviser, who has pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI about his discussions on sanctions against Russia with Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak during the presidential transition. Flynn is now cooperating with Mueller's investigators.
'What did you know about phone calls that Mr. Flynn made with the Russian ambassador, Sergey I. Kislyak, in late December 2016?' reads one question. Another asks if there were any efforts to reach out to Flynn 'about seeking immunity or possible pardon.'
Flynn was fired Feb. 13, 2017, after White House officials said he had misled them about his Russian contacts during the transition period by saying that he had not discussed sanctions.
The following day, according to memos written by Comey, Trump cleared the Oval Office of other officials and encouraged Comey to drop the investigation into Flynn.
Trump lawyer Jay Sekulow declined to comment on the list on Monday night, as did White House lawyer Ty Cobb.
Although Trump has casually commented publicly that he'd be happy to speak with Mueller's investigators, he has yet to formally agree to an interview.
Many of Trump's close advisors have warned him not to give an interview, fearing that Mueller is setting a perjury trap. If Trump's statements contradict someone else's or other evidence, he could be charged with lying to investigators.

[FONT=&quot]So disgraceful that the questions concerning the Russian Witch Hunt were “leaked” to the media. No questions on Collusion. Oh, I see...you have a made up, phony crime, Collusion, that never existed, and an investigation begun with illegally leaked classified information. Nice!

to the fucking idiots, Trump is guilty of something merely because Mueller wants to axe him questions, which is something one should anticipate he'd do the day he was appointed

the fact that every shred of evidence, and every charge in this investigation, and every prediction they have made thus far has proved they're categorically incorrect, all means nothing to them as they just keep plugging along make assholes out of themselves

they love LOSING

Newsfeed: "Look at these 'questions' Mueller wants to ask the president and see if they have anything to do with the initial purpose of the Mueller investigation. And since when does an 'investigator' have the right to ask a president about his thinking, intentions and motivations? (By the way, how do you suppose these 'questions' became public, was there a 'leak' from Mueller or his 'team'?)"

"The special counsel is investigating possible collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia, as well as whether the president sought to obstruct justice. Mr. Trump has denied collusion and obstruction, and Moscow has denied election meddling."

This has totally passed complete and utter joke status. The president does not have to answer to anyone or any questions about why he fired anyone.

Just a total search party for something to use, any little tidbit. This is where President Trump tells Mueller to go fvck himself!!

Good to see Trumps pussy lawyer leaving, retiring my ass. lol President needs a tough, adversarial fighter for a lawyer, not this weak hand defending him.
Who did not defend him at all
