Latin Internet incompetence

I go to Air Europa's (Spain) website to cancel a flight. Its a refundable flight, and its several days before (must be changed/canceled 48 hours before). They respond to the cancellation request 35 days later with a fucking nonsense canned reply. They never canceled the flight.

I go tonight to try make reservations at Hotel Punta Leona. All I get on all pages is: Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $end in /home/hpleona/public_html/components/com_sef/cache/cache.php on line 960

I go to TACA and try to join DISTANCIA. I get a 404 Not Found when submitting the Join form.

I go to ESPH-SA to pay my water and electricity bill. Forms don't work in Firefox. I try with Internet Explorer -- cannot pay a bill more than 75k colones.

I submit an inquiry to Punta Pacifica Hospital in Panama City, including private medical details. I get an email response from PanamaPoker.com thanking my for my inquiry (with a copy of the data I submitted).


WHAT THE FUCK? Are all companies in Latin American and Latin Europe just totally fucking clueless, and all Internet consultants totally incompetent??!

LMAOOOOOOO, I imagine that if you email PanamaPoker.com for the result of a 'hand' you get an email from a hand surgeon telling you to show up for an x-ray?

You know very well that we are behind everything by a factor of years if not decades.....obviously all companies consider internet 'small potatoes', its a cost not a source of revenue in most cases.

On the airline's I won't even start......even American companies site suck (not to the degree you mentioned though)

One notable exception to what you've described is subwaycostarica...I order from them all the time and it always 'works', its not perfect but it at least gets a 9.
