Late TUESDAY Vegas Trap on Seattle
Let's recap some Seattle vs Denver from their previous 2 meetings earlier this year:
11/9/04 at Denver, (before anyone realized how bad Denver is or how good Seattle is) Seattle wins 108-88 as a 5 point dog
12/22/04 lines have caught up to both teams and now playing at Seattle, Sonics are favored by 9 and cruise again 98-83.
So with a 15 and 20 point win already in the books, Denver playing their worst ball of the year, Denver coming off a national TV 10 point loss to the lowly Warriors, and keeping in mind that in Seattle's last 2 game where they were without Rashard Lewis they beat those same crappy Warriors by 19 (as a 13 point chalk) and then beat Cleveland by 8 (as a 7 point chalk) let's predict what the line might be for this edition of Seattle-Denver? 14?? It's gotta be higher than vs GS right? 15? 16?
Well let's see the line opened at 7. Same as against Cleveland. So if you think Cleveland and Denver are comparable, it makes sense. If you think Denver is a strong road team it makes sense. But unless the linesmakers know something no one else knows IT MAKES NO SENSE.
The 'public' is already hammering Seattle, I just can't believe this is not one of the biggest sucker bets of the year to take Seattle.
You can not play Seattle at this line unless you believe Vegas is giving money away
Play Denver +8 (or more) for 5 units.
