Based on the Las Vegas Wild Card ratings.....

Houston wins by 4 1/2+
Seattle wins by 9+
Pittsburgh wins by 8 1/2+
Green Bay wins by 5+

Just thought I would throw these numbers out to everyone. Of course the first 2 games are completed so if someone wants me to post the ratings for each team I will.

The + means at least that number or more so as a bettor I would not wager on Miami since the numbers show they lose by at least 8.

Not necessarily covering but winning by at least that number. Pitt could win by 9 or 10 and still not cover the late number but for the most part yes, your correct.

With that being said i would rather take a team that is supposed to win by at least 8-9 rather than take a team that is supposed to lose by 8-9, with the current line of -11

Miami possibly shows a little value at the current line of +12 but they won't win the game based on the ratings

I ask the same question. And if you look at this years tracking, closing lines have been more accurate to the final score than the openings.

Opening Line absolute error: 9.0808

If you followed the ratings and played the teams that had the higher rating 4-0
