To further clarify, I went and looked at the MLB standings back to 2001. Every team had played 160 games (the 2001 Yankees were the only one I found that played exactly 160) and there were only a few that played 161. I'd say well over 90% played all 162.
They want to play all of these games for revenues and the chances of playing less than 160 without some extraordinary circumstance (strike, terrorist attack, etc.) are probably slim to none.
Couldn't find any team in the past 7 years that would fit the criteria to void the bets.
