Arizona - 4

Guys this will be my largest pac ten play of the season thus far.look for Arizona to come back home after two tough road games against Cal & USC and take care of business against an up and down Stanford squad who is off a win against Wash State.Zona gained a ton of confidence last week against USC especially on offense so look for it to carry over to this game in a big way as they are in need of a "W" and will get it here. I will have more thoughts as the week goes on but wanted to share with you now.

IMO, It would be asking a lot of a poor Stanford team to perform well in a second consecutive road game. Stanford did not turn the ball over at WSU after coughing the ball up 7 times in their previous 2 games-cannot see them duplicating that feat here. Arizona's pedestrian offense is a concern, especially the lack of a running game, but with Stanford's soft D, this looks like a good spot for the wildcats.

Good points. Without question, U of A has something to build on after playing USC and making plays on offense. The Over also might be worth a look as the Tree's defense is fairly poor.

adding..

WASH STATE + 6 (-120) ( 5 Units)

This line is dropping.Wazzou is dangerous in this spot as UCLA is off a big come back win over Cal and Wazzou is off look ahead loss to Stanford. This should be a shoot out.

UCLA should cover easy...WSU has already let the air out of their own balloon. Papers throughout the state have mentioned the team is depressed and saddened by their complete fallout. They aren't playing for anything. UCLA plays exceptional on the road away from home in the Pac10.

Dr.Pepper, They arent playing for anything???? I beg to differ as they are 3-2 and can still go to a bowl game.I am sure they are disapointed with the way things have gone but a 5-0 UCLA team coming to town will change that in a heart beat.UCLA could very well cover here as there is no such thing as a lock but I just think that Wash State has something to prove and RB Harrison who rushed for 250 last season against UCLA should have another big day as the Bruins are still having major problems against the run.

And, as the sophomore noted, he has some positives working in his favor. Two of them, in fact, showed up at practice Wednesday in the form of wide receivers Jason Hill (quadriceps) and Chris Jordan (hip flexor). The two starters missed last week's game against Stanford, and perhaps it's no coincidence that the passing game struggled in their absence.

One starting spot was occupied by a true freshman in Brandon Gibson.

Hill and Jordan didn't have to come off the field during practice, and it appears they're both in good position to play against UCLA.

*****************************************
the above is from a story in the Seattle Times... both starting Wr's back this week for Wash State. That is big as Hill is very good and will make the running game even more tough to stop.
