I'm liking the Lakers -6.5
and Under 215

Don't really feel like i have a good grasp of this game though... game 1s are a bitch.. i needa see a full 48 minutes before this doesn't feel like throwing blind darks at night.

I'm aware denver is 10-0 ATS in the playoffs but the Lakers took em out right b4 the playoffs started... and i'm not worried about the -6.5 cause the lakers seem to blow people out at home by double digits.. and plus its the play-offs...... kobe is never going off the court even if lakers up by 30.. see Laker/Hou game 5. I don't see Carmelo having a field day on odom... nor do i see fisher struggling on a dude that doesn't seem to take viagra before every game (brooks). Nene and kenyon gonna get shitted on my gasol + bynum, both on offence and defense... and i see kobe, letting his team help him out here... for they are capable.

Birdman off the bench is great defensive stopper.. but Trevor Ariza ain't someone to be over looked either.

George Carl's stresses defense, but honestly... i see this leading to a boat load of FTs on the lakers end.

Billups, beyond his ability, has all the intangibles, honestly, he's the will that will keep denver in it when/if LA goes on a big run.

Plus, JR Smith can draw his inner kobe at any given time and make 30 footers look like free throws...

All in all, LA has showed me what they got at home and plus i like the matchup. I don't care that Denver is 10-0 ATS... they matched up well against Dallas + NOs... LA is different kind of beast completely

Also, lean toward the under, cause though i do expect the lakers to go to the line, there should also be a slew of forced jumpers from teams feeling each other out in game 1... Iuno.. i'm not gonna go list the previous games.. but if LA doesn't shoot 46 FTs again.. ha ha... I dont see this hitting 215.. history as my judge.

ALSO,

LOVIN' ORLANDO +9 TOMORROW... but thats for another day =). (I am aware cavs are a beastly 7-0-1 ATS in the playoffs)

I am really the other way on this game. I feel Denver wins this one out right. Lakers really don't win unless they have to. Even in the first series against the Jazz, the Jazz covered 3 games to the Lakers 2. Houston they covered 4 to Houstons 3, Game 1 they lost @ home, then had to win Game 2. Game 3 really was a must win so they got that one they gave away back. You see what I am getting @. Denver has shown up every game. There loses have been by 2 points or less. At the very least if Lakers win and cover, Denver wins game 2. Denver was supposed to have the harder schedual to get to the finals, have a lot of rest and are firing on all cylinders, I will be going with Denver. BOL.

lakers arent consistent, some games they look unstoppable then the very next game they play really poorly and since last game was nearly a 20point victory..... leaning on denver

It should be great value with the lakers in games in this series as too many on the denver bandwagon.Imo Kobe will have a huge series in this one, games should be great but Denver will not beat the Lakers in a 7 game series...ck

Got a strong suspicion the defensive intensity gets ratcheted up in this series especially in the opening Game 1 was the reasoning I used to go
the with under. Will either team break 100?

not betting the under anymore... defensive intensity --> over aggresive defense --> free throws --> not under

Can argue with that reasoning either though Dangotsoul. Good luck with your play.

It all comes down to: who's playing the best at the moment, not how a team played the team last time. Denver is obviously playing their best ball all season.

Denver is +210 or so for the series.

I think the Nuggest do it. If the Lakers win tonight, then the price will drop even more right?

Do I need to place a series bet before Game 1, anybody know?

You can't do it at the local sportsbook.
