Lakers failed to cover 10 in a row... NO was -1/-1.5 last game at home against (then) much better LAL team... LAL downgraded (speaking of the results) and NO improved a bit... so that 1pt move in NO favor (opened -2) isn't a big surprise... LAL won that game more or less easily (crushed NO in 1st qtr and NO tried to comeback in 4th)

2* Hornets -3 over the Lakers

My first play of more than 1 unit. Thought about going bigger, but there is the Kobe factor to take into account of Kobe willing his team to win. Everything I look at, lines up for the Hornets tonight.

1. Hornets have Revenge on the Lakers for payback
2. Lakers are playing their 4th game in 5 nights and are tired, while New Orleans has two days off
3. Hornets are 11-0 SU and 10-1 ATS at home with Revenge
4. Lakers seem to be in dogging it mode and have lost 10 straight ATS
5. Lakers have their Christmas rematch with Boston up next (I think the Lakers, are already know this game is a loss) and will fold up the tent early and start thinking about Boston

sonnys right, the line is pretty close to where it should be.. also a tough spot for lakers on 2nd night of road b2bs.. plus, they used a lot of energy fighting from behind in the 2nd half.. the front court is well stocked but the backcourt has to be getting sluggish.. kobes been averaging 40 mins a game recently bc of farmar. sashas having a down year and they dont have any pg depth behind fisher, whos played at least 40 minutes the last 2 games.. they should have tired legs.
