I can't say I can explain it. I would think that a team down by more than 15 points would give up in the 2nd half. But it's just an indicator that I've noticed.

I started betting on teams down by 20 at the half with less than a -7 spread for the 2nd half. Lately I've been betting teams down by more than 15. I think I'll gather my posts in this forum where I've done that and keep a running total.

OK guys (and ID). I checked my record in this forum of betting teams that are down by 15 or more at halftime. The bets I took went 4-4 so far. One of those lost with a last-second shot. Another bet was at -8. I'm going to look at teams down by 15 or more at half with a spread of -7 or less.

I'll still keep the YTD at 4-4.
