Here are my plays for today.....
Minnesota -5 ($1000)....Houston is winless on the road though they have won 3 in a row. Minnesota is coming off the bye which is important as they are one of the best after byes. Peterson and Taylor should have their way on the road and defense should shut down Slaton. Allen and company should be able to get to qb which adds up to turnovers for Schaub. Vikings get needed win to keep up with the Bears and Packers.
Detroit +12.5 ($500).....This will be a closer game than most expect. Bears handed it to Lions in Detroit. Bears coming off of bye and have gotten healthier in the secondary which opens up the blitz packages vs Lions line. The reason I am going with Honolulu blue here is that divisional games often play closer than expected and Lions have been a little more game of late. Look for a game that Bears win by by a td or less.
Denver -4 ($3000)....This is my play of the week. Denver is coming off embarrassing MNF loss 2 weeks ago to NE. Shanahan is the best coach by record after the bye in the NFL. Denver is 3-1 at home though yet to cover but that changes today. I see Denver winning this game by 2 td's plus as they look to take control in AFC West.
Green Bay +3.5 ($1000)....Packers catch Titans at right time as they are coming off emotional win on MNF vs rival Colts. Packers have gotten a little healthier in bye week and have had 2 weeks to prepare for this game. Pack released all time sack leader for franchise in Bjaja but activated Harrell which is a big plus to stopping Titans running game. Pack give Titans first loss here.
NY Jets +5 ($500)....Favre and company will show up and pull the upset in Buffalo today. Jets have been sleepwalking past 2 weeks in the soft underbelly of schedule but look for a spirited effort on both sides of the ball. Jets have had more success than many people in Buffalo and will continue today.
Cardinals/Rams over 49.5 ($500).... I expect a lot of scoring in this one. Jackson will play which is a big plus for Rams offense. Holt is starting to complain about being phased out so look for Bulger to go to Holt a ton in this game. Cards receivers have given the Rams secondary fits for last couple of years and that won't change today. I see this game playing in the high 50's plus.
