Kojak's Saturday NFL Selections

I have 4 plays for Saturday. Hope to win at least 3.

Bucs -6.5 -Bucs defense has owned Vick and without Reeves handling offense should make it even easier for Bucs

Vikings +3 -Besides game with lowly Lions, Chiefs have not been impressive for a month. Look for home field to play major role for Vikings winning this game.

Vikings/Chiefs over 54.5 - Both teams defenses match up poorly against others offense. Both teams could very well score in the thirty's maybe the forty's.

Jets +3 - This is the Jets playoff game. Patriots due for let down even when trying to clinch homefield and could even be look ahead game with Buffalo who clobbered them opening day.

Would watch out for the Pats. Keep waiting for a letdown, but doesn't seem like it's going to happen. Nobody gives them any respect, yet they're going to the Super Bowl for the 2nd time in 3 years.

You are probably right but I think this is a bad spot for them. I look for Indy out of the AFC right now to go to the Super Bowl.

Why Indy? I think Indy has zero shot to get there. No way they win on the road in the playoffs. Until they win a big game, they are a fraud to me. Tennessee and the Chiefs are the two teams that worry me most.

I am basing my decision that Indy will go to the Super Bowl this year as they won at TB, at Tenn (won both meetings), and should have beat NE. If they faced again I think there would be a different result. This is my instinct that Indy will win in the playoffs this year. They will play St. Louis in the Super Bowl.

NE was up 31-10 on them in the 2nd half. Colts came back and you're right, should have pushed it in from the 1...but didn't. You may be right, but until they win a big game I'm not buying it. Good luck.

Key game in playoffs for Colts is first so that they get the monkey off their back. If they win that first one, you can throw the past out the door. First game should be at home so they have a great shot to win.

Indy's best shot at Superbowl is to secure first round bye. I don't think Indy can play three play-off games, with possible two on the road at KC and at NE to make it.

Indy is a quality team, but NE is for real, extremely well coached. If they get home field throughout they are my pick, and even if they get 2nd seed, I think they will beat KC in KC in AFC championship.

Out of the Big 3, home field means more to the Chiefs than the other 2. Indy and New England have both proven this year they can win on the road.

I think Indy having home field is just as important as KC. Im a Payton Manning fan but to be honest he isn't the same QB in below 20 degree weather as he is in the dome or in the heat. If he has to play at New England that will be the game they can't win in playoffs.

Best of luck to you. Going against two of the best teams in the NFL (Chiefs and Vikings). People are continuing to write the Chiefs off, and they may be right. But I like em against the Vikings. And I like em for the Bowl. That would be something if both the Chiefs and the Patriots don't cover, though. GL

Tampa loss brings us to 0-1 on week as Brad Johnson doesn't show up in 1st half.

Minnesota BIGGGG at half 24-0. Like I mentioned in writeup not a good matchup for KC defense and Vikings needed game worse. But there is still 30 minutes to play.
