I have my 3rd must bet game of the year on Monday's slate along with a few others.

Notre Dame +11 - Pitt has been looking very ordinary of late while I think Irish guards will keep them in this one. (win)

LSU -5.5 - Tigers have way too much for New Orleans (win)

Appalachian St. +7 - App St. could win this game straight up (win)

Utah +1 - Utes will control tempo and outrebound Vegas to win this one outright

Third Must Bet Game of the Year

Missouri -4.5 - Missouri has had this one circled on the schedule. Syracuse has played few road games and will struggle at Missouri. Missouri will play Syracuse, at Oklahoma, and Texas this week. This is a MUST WIN game for them and they will be sky high. Just like game with Iowa, Missouri will roll in this one as they need quality win for tournament resume.
(LOSS)
Best of luck.

Be careful of "must" win games.

If a team was good enough, they'd never be in a "must" win situation to begin with.

I have seen Missouri play every game but loss to Belmont. I am telling you they win this game handily. I noticed your from Champaign, maybe you should watch Illini play lately, loss at home to Purdue and near loss against Illinois State.

For those that doubt Missouri, just don't play the game and wish you did afterwards. I know this Missouri team well. You guys that doubt them, they are still the most talented team in country but have lacked chemistry. They are beginning to get it together and I believe after this week will have people back supporting them. They will win 2 out of 3 at least against Syracuse, Oklahoma, and Texas.

texaskid,

Frost may be out but their is still plenty in the cupboard against turnover prone UNLV.

no loser and cappthespread,

If you know Missouri basketball, you will know they are terrible with any expectations but when you write them off, they will bite you in the ass. Missouri has lost 2 home games in about 2.5 years. This is a big homecourt advantage. Sure Missouri has lost 5 games but by how many points and to who. They have lost by a total amount of 19 points in 5 losses with 4 of them on the road against quality opponents Gonzaga by 7 in ot, Illinois by 1, Memphis by 1, and Iowa State by 5 were winning in last minute. Don't forget Missouri played Syracuse tough at Carrier Dome last year and could have easily won. Missouri has 3-4 big additions while Cuse has one major subtraction in Carmelo.

you convinced me Kojack.

I'm on Mizzu tonight and I already liked LSU. I smell a sweet two-teamer cooking here.

best of luck

Koj,
I hope you are right but Missouri has a terrible
time with the zone and Syracuse has arguably the
best zone in the country. I too have watched this team all year and I'm afraid they are still
in trouble. I attended the A&M game on Saturday
and they just don't look comfortable on offense
and do not defend the perimeter very well. They can still be a Tournament team but they have dug themselves a hole and hav a very tough
stretch ahead with a lot of improving to do.
I can't recommend a play on Mizzou when they are
giving points.

This is a tough call. I was going to wager on Missouri until Mizzou posted. Two people who know Missouri basketball well having opposite opinions.

kevinla,

One thing I can tell you is a lot of Kansas City area Missouri fans are down on Missouri basketball due to KC papers being the ones that initiated this Ricky Clemons investigation. Their newspapers are very negative on Missouri and Snyder. I don't normally play Missouri unless I am 100% sure. I am 100% confident. Best of luck.

Mizzou,

Our Tigers will come through tonight. I don't normally play on my team but only in situations I am 100% confident. I am tonight. Trust me on this. Best of luck.
