I Play A Lot Of Games But For Those That Like A Single Game To Play This Weekend And To Me I Am Classifying As A Game Of The Year Play. Take Kansas St. +20. Oklahoma Played A Great Defensive Game Vs Texas But They Are Getting Thinner And Thinner On Defense. They Lost Tommy Harris To The Draft, Cody For Disciplinary And Will Be Without Antonio Perkins For A Couple Of Games. Perkins Is The Biggest Loss Yet. He Constantly Provides Sooners With Great Field Position And Is Their Shutdown Corner Vs Other Teams Top Receiver. Kansas St. Is Not As Bad As People Believe. They Have Played Well Offensively The Last Two Weeks On The Road At Texas Am And Kansas. Turnovers Especially On Special Teams (sproles) Has Been Achilles Heel. Kansas St. Has More To Play For As Their Season Is On The Line As A Loss Here May Prevent A Bowl Game. Oklahoma Will Be Looking For Revenge But This Is Very Overrated As Wildcats Know How To Play Sooners And White. Key For Wildcats Is Stopping Peterson. I Think White Has Not Played As Well This Year And Kansas St. Will Put 8 Or 9 In The Box And Force White To Beat Them. White May Have His Best Game Of The Year But I Expect Some Key Interceptions To Aid Wildcats. Manhattan Is A Very Tough Place To Play Especially For Top Teams To Visit. Oklahoma Has Not Blown Out Teams Like They Have In The Past. They Struggled Against Texas Tech, Oregon, And Texas On The Offensive Side Of The Ball. Scoring In The Mid 20's Vs Tech And Oregon And Only 12 Vs Texas Tells Me They Are Not As Strong Offensively As In The Past. There Are Those Of You That Say They Shutout Texas But What You All Fail To Realize Is Texas Is Very One Dimensional. They Have Young And Unseasoned Receivers And Young Is Not Even An Average Passer At This Point In His Growth. Texas Runs Basically Two Plays And Stoops Knew That. Snyder Is Very Multi Dimensional Play Caller And Will Have A Nice Balance Of Pass/run And Will Play Very Loosey Goosey With Some Gadget Plays On Offense And Special Teams. This Will Be A Shootout As I Believe Sooners Must Score In Upper 30's To Win This Game In Manhattan. If Not, Their Is A Great Shot For Wildcats To Pull Upset.

As I said yesterday, I like the Cats to cover, but I think it will be a lower scoring game, maybe 27-17. If Cats QB Dylan Meier's shoulder is okay, and if RB/PR Darren Sproles can hang onto the ball, Cats have a chance to pull their 2nd shocker in 10 months....a wounded animal is dangerous. Sproles has had his biggest games against the best opponents, and could do it again if the passing game can open up some holes for him......and if all of these fumbles haven't gotten into his head.

It was about this time last year that people (myself included) had written the Cats off after 3 straight losses, and they won every remaining game, including the Big XII Championship. But, that was a better defense and different QB. GL

Oklahoma leading 17-14 at half as K State has held Peterson to 26 total rushing yards. Someone has been reading their premature Heisman clippings. Meier looking strong at quarterback for Wildcats with 160 yards passing in first half. If you have not seen my main thread, I have added K State +11 and over 26 for 2nd half. BOL.
