What a great two days of football! Everyone played well as 19 points is smallest amount of points to decide all the divisional round games. Next weekend looks like another two great games.

Indianapolis at New England (-4)- The two key factors in this game will be the weather and Colts offense ability to not turn over the ball which has been their achilles heel against Patriots in the past. Pats are 3-0 alltime in Championship game while Colts are 1-2. Homefield should once again be meaningless in this one as Manning and co have proven that they can handle any situation. Like I said above, if Manning can handle Bellichick's new wrinkle on defense, Colts will win. Early pick is Colts (+4) 24 Patriots 17

Carolina at Philadelphia (-4.5)- Is the third time the charm for Philly? I think the answer is yes. I can't see Delhomme able to handle Johnson's defensive pressure the way Favre did. With Steven Davis questionable, Foster will play who I think has always been turnover prone in college. Key for Philly's defense without possibly Davis playing will be to pressure Delhomme and take away Steve Smith who is a difference maker. On offense, Eagles will need to be patient and take what Panthers defense gives them. Big advantage for Philly in fact they thouroughly beat Panthers in Carolina earlier in year. I expect Eagles to score early and often in this one, forcing Panthers to catch up where they will fall short. Eagles (-4.5) 28 Panthers 17

Super Bowl: Philadelphia vs Indianapolis

Best of luck.

Hi Kojak -
My $0.02 : Love Indy getting the points (3.5 at Pinnacle)- will grab the ML (+161) as well.
In the NFC, I feel as if Philly will take control early and beat Carolina in the same fashion as Carolina beat Dallas last week.

NickfromNJ - going through Sunday night withdrawls with NO FOOTBALL!!!

Kojak:
Thanks for early write-up. Is there a reason you have game ending up with 45 points? Just curious as I thought under 38/38.5 was attractive.

bulldog77,

The reason I like the over here is I think there will be some defensive and special team plays for easy scores. I also think Philly will get ahead early forcing the Panthers to be thinking catch up the whole game. Hope this helps and best of luck.

Just to make it clear I like the over 38 in Philly/Carolina and the under 43.5 in NE/INDY.

Kojak, These games were somthing else. I think we've go 2 more good ones next week. I think NE-Indy will be the ultimate chess match between Manning and Belichik. Not sure how Eagles will top this thriller. I think having Vincent back gives them a better chance. Eagles would have a tough time vs Indy, Manning torched them last year. So I would like to see the Patriots step up and win. Panthers are a dangerous team.

Sounds Like Fun

garyphilly,

Your Eagles will get the job done in Championship but will lose to Patriots or Colts. AFC team will win Super Bowl! Best of luck.

GL Kojak, I am with you on Indi. I am just a little nervous about the hex that New England seems to have on Manning.

meyerlansky,

It is these trends and hexes that prevent us from winning. Indy won't be as prolific on offense as they were the last two weeks but this team has learned to win in tough road environments and Manning won't let this opportunity slip away. Best of luck.
