Saturday

Chiefs at Patriots- Field conditions and weather could play a role with both teams injured players. Though Pats get some key players back including Edelman, I am one that feels too much emphasis is made of returning players in first game back. This game imo will be determined in the trenches. Thus is a big edge I only to the Chiefs. Too many journeyman players up front for Pats to block Hali and Houston. Chiefs have won 11 in a row are e trembly confident and Pats late season slide can't be overlooked. In an upset Chiefs move on to Championship game with upset. Smith ability to limit turnovers and ability to run is key today!
Who Luvs You Chiefs (+5 ) 23 Patriots 19

Packers at Cardinals- I witnessed this game in person a month ago with every big play right in front of me. The issue in this game is the same as first game and same problem as Pats. Too many journeyman upfront vs strong defensive line. Yes some guys are coming back, now you are short another weapon with Adams out. Though I don't think Pack lose by 30, this Cards team have been focused all year minus Wk 17 and this Arizona team has sat on that for two weeks. This is the best team in football and have never lost home playoff game in Phoenix.

Sunday
Seattle at Carolina- Week 6 Hawks had their way until fourth when Cam took over. Difference this go around is Hawks defense which is hitting on all cylinders. Cats don't have enough weapons here to score enough. Hawks are hottest team outside KC and truly believe Cats strength of schedule catches up to them here. Not to mention fact that Carolina running mouths and Hawks defense may be a little motivated by 7 Panthers on First team All pro team to zero for Hawks defense. That's right zero. Really? Hawks come in ready
Seahawks (+1.5) Who Luvs You 21 Carolina 13

Pittsburgh at Denver- To me this game boils down to three things. 1 Denver has some motivation from losing game to Pitt roughly a month ago. 2 Key injuries on offense for Steelers. 3 Which quarterback plays the best with injuries. With that said I believe Steelers if healthy is best team in AFC. I trust 50% Big Ben and his toughness more than an over the hill Manning. I don't know if they win outright but don't think Broncos are good enough to cover 7.5 vs even this beat up Steelers team

Koj's writeup on Steelers is spot on. Only drawback is if Big Ben goes down hard on that shoulder and in comes Landry Jones.

I really like the steelers play. Any time a team gets over a touchdown in the playoffs it's too much of an incentive to bet the dog. I think PITT will at least play a tough game and possibly just win outright. I'm not discounting Manning but he hasn't looked as good as he has in years past, we all know that, so I'm with you on Ben. GL!
