Last week went 11-10 to bring overall record to 17-23. This week looking to get back to .500 or above.

Kojak Killers:

Northwestern -2.5 - Kansas has enjoyed two blowouts at home against Toledo and Tulsa. This week they travel to play the Wildcats. Northwestern has the offense to compete with KU. Kansas has been a horrific road team for many years now. This is their 1st road game of the year and will struggle to keep this one close.
Northwestern 31 Kansas 20 (WIN)

Oregon St. -12 - Beavers have had a rough start to the season going to LSU and Boise St. New Mexico has been surprisingly competitive against Texas Tech and Wazzu. The difference like Ku is both of these were at home. OSU will be desperate for a victory as a loss here could ruin the season of a very good team. Oregon St. will score early and often in this one.
Oregon St. 44 New Mexico 17 (LOSS)

Arizona St. Pk- Sun Devils have circled this game on their calender since their drubbing in Iowa City to open last year. Simply put I don't expect this one to be close as Iowa simply does not have enough offense to keep up with the Sun Devils in the desert. (WIN-POSTING EARLY BUT PRETTY MUCH OVER)

Arizona St. 49 Iowa 20

Upset Specials:

New Mexico St. +10 - Troy State on a high with with wins over Mizzou and Marshall travel to NM State to play an overmatched team coming off blowout losses at Arkansas and Cal. Both of these games were on the road and playing their first game at home vs a team coming off of a big high smells of an upset.
New Mexico St. 20 Troy State 17 (WIN-SU)

Colorado State +4 - Sonny Lubick's took a brutal beating at USC last Saturday. For a mid major level team, I respect very much the job this man has done and especially like the way his teams bounce back. They will be playing their first home game of the season and won't be intimidated by the Gophers. Gophers are not a strong road team and may struggle in the high air of Colorado. CSU will give Gophers a taste of their own medicine as Houston runs for some big yardage to control clock and allow Rams to pull the upset.
Colorado St. 27 Minnesota 21 (NO PLAY)

Florida +3 - Gators QB Leak will be the difference against the two headed freshman quarterback for Tennessee. I expect Gator defense to cause numerous turnovers to lead them to victory at Rocky Top.
Florida 24 Tennessee 13 (NO PLAY)

Big Underdogs:

Ohio +20.5 - I look for a highly competitive game possibly a shootout but expect the spread to be no more than 10 as Miami has not been sharp to open the season.
Ohio 28 Miami, Oh 31 (WIN)

Arizona +10.5 - This on paper expects to be a mismatch but this could be the game that Stoops gets his troops up for a very game effort against a team struggling on offense.
Arizona 13 Wisconsin 17 (WIN)

Tulane +17 - Green Wave have been waiting for the Cardinals. Louisville will be playing the second of back to back road games. Tulane should have more than enough offense to keep up with UofL explosive offense.
Tulane 38 Louisville 49 (POSTPONED)

Army +15.5 - Houston has not looked good to start the season as their defense looked more like a little league team against OU. Army's wishbone should run wild but fall short in the end. Army definitely live in this one.
Army 23 Houston 28 (WIN)

Utep +28.5 - Call this a hunch! Mike Price has to be licking his chops to have a chance to make his first big splash at UTEP after Alabama debacle. Boise St. in the typical sandwich game situation. Boise will prevail but it won't be easy.
UTEP 21 Boise State 35 (WIN)

Other games:
Colorado-16 (game is now at 20 but jumped on it early) (WIN)

Rice +1.5 (WIN)
Tulsa PK (LOSS)
Oklahoma -27 (NO PLAY)
Auburn -1 (PUSH)
Virginia -31 (WIN)
Boston College -7.5 (WIN)
Vanderbilt +7 (WIN)

Note: If TA McClendon plays for NC State, they are a definite play for me as a Killer vs Ohio State.

Best of luck!

cocaptain,
congrats as well on BC as I simply didn't see all the commotion on a overhyped UConn team. best of luck tomorrow.

Sportsbet,
Best of luck and especially on Florida. A lot of people doubt Leak but I think he will be the difference.

fivedoors,

Best of luck today and glad u see the value in N.Mexico St. and Colorado St. In regards to Tenn, I can understand your point of view, but simply feel 2 freshman qb regardless of how talented they may be will struggle, while I feel Leak may be most underrated in the country and is ready to take the next step in a big game. Best of luck.
