memphis ole miss game i believe you got it wrong

ole miss got same qback aslast year and their rback out - they have 2 guys splitting time... memphis has receivers this year last year they were hurt, memphis oline very strong this year - new qback for memphis but if he gets time can complete a few passes and deangelo will run all over ole miss

the memphis coach just signed a long term contract - memphis will win by 10-14 points again.

this game is priced based on the old memphis football rankings not the new ones, they actually can play these days

this is the same lock of the year i bet on the last 3 years

disclaimer - i went to school at memphis and slightly biased but the last 3 years results speak for themselves

goodluck this year gbogo - get big or get out !

Through Friday, 1-3 regular plays 1-0 Kojak Killers for overall of 2-3 +7.7 units. I may be adding another play or 2 but double checking a couple of things first.

Adding......

Notre Dame/Pittsburgh over 52.5....ND returns all 11 starters on offense and should be firing on all cylinders with Weis now at the helm. Pitt returns with 9 starters on offense. Two high caliber quarterbacks in this game with two pretty good backs gives this game a feel of a shootout. Irish only return 3 starters on defense so very young as well. (Kojak Killer Play)

Kojak, I'm on Wisky simply because the Big Ten has OWNED the MAC in a big way over the years. Average margin 26 points. Trev Alberts is a fade, and he said Bowling Green wins the game outright back in March. But I may listen if you have additional insights. Thanks buddy.

Illini,

I have a good feel for this Wisky team as a kid that I coached plays on Wisky. He tells me the offense will probably be as good as years past but defense and defensive leadership is the problem this year. They only return 4 starters on that side of the ball after losing James and Hawthorne off of dl, and Starks and Leonard out of the secondary. If you look at Wisky def ppg ly they went like this 6, 3, 7, 3, 7, 13, 17, 12, 14, 49, and 30 in the regular season. Offense only scored over 30 points twice and only 6 of 11 games over 20. So as you can see defense was the key to this team ly. Offense is going to have to be more productive but I really don't think can keep up with BG in a shootout especially after losing Anthony Davis though Booker Stanley and Bernstein are decent backs.

Bowling Green on the other hand, return Jacobs at qb, top 4 rushers, and top 2 receivers including Charles Sharon who is a special receiver. BG did not score less than 17 points in any game ly, scored over 30 in 9 of 11 games, and over 40 points in 8 of 11. They are also 11-4 ats in last 15 road openers since 90. Wisconsin on the other hand is 6-15 in last 21 at home vs non conference opponents.

Overall, I truly believe Wisky is going to have to score in the 30's to win this game. There is too much NFL talent on offensive side for Bowling Green and not enough seasoned defenders for Wisky and no returning defensive leadership. I am sure Alvaraz will have defense ready with that being said but simply don't think Wisky can contain this offense so if they don't get the turnovers there is no chance imo.

Bowling Green 38 Wisconsin 24

Hope this helps. I know Wisky is tough at home but they also lost to UNLV there 2 years ago. I think too much Jacobs to Sharon and runs by Pope!

Probably not a good idea to name names on a forum. Those kids can get in some serious shit if they are known to be talking to people that wager on the games. But thanks for the info.

Kojak Killer Play on ....

Ohio +15 @ Northwestern...Ohio played fairly tough on the road ly beating Kentucky and playing fairly close games at Miami,OH,Toledo, and Pitt. They return 14 starters including 6 starters on offense and 8 on defense. They will be breaking in a new starting quarterback in Everson but return top rusher McRae and top receiver Mayle though neither sets the world on fire. Key to this team is their defense which was solid ly. They will have a nice advantage tomorrow as there will be no Noah Herrin to worry about and in fact top returning rusher Terrell Jordan won't be playing for Cats either. Big ot Rucks is also out for Cats while top 2 returning tacklers both lb's in Mcgaricle and Roach are questionable for the game. Offense should be improved as well. Key to me is the return to the sideline of HC Frank Solich who as it turns out was given a raw deal at Nebraska and will be eager to prove himself out of the gate. Cats may win this game but Ohio is live and will take it down to the wire.
