My record for Week 1 was 9/14.

The "Steel" Early Bird Pick of the Week

Pittsburgh Steelers
Line: 150 Units: 2

Steelers defense will be able to contain the Chiefs offense. Kendrell Bell and Jason Gildon are gonna be keeping Green on his toes. Holmes will not breaking away for any spectacular runs like he did against Chargers. The Chiefs defense will not be able to contain Plaxico Burress, Heinz Ward, Tommy Maddox, Antwaan Randal-El, Famous Amos.

San Francisco 49ers
Line: 140 Units: 1

49ers played great against the Bears last week and the Rams played like crap. 49ers are holding the momentum and their defense will carry it into St Louis. 49ers offense will come out with the win even if it is last second.

3-1 MoneyLine Extravaganza

Houston Texans
Line: 320 Units: 1

Texas has it together. Saints are all over the place. Texans defense will match the Saints defense. David Carr will be connecting to Andre Johnson. Stacy Mack is get his name mentioned also.

Lambeau Road Dog Special

Detroit Lions
Line: 250 Units: 1

Lambeau is now the place to be because every who goes there seems to win. Lions Harrington has Rogers to connect to and their running game has improved. The Lions need an error free game and they will take home the W.

Miami Dolphins
Spread: -3 +100 Units: 1

Jets offense doesn't look very potent. Dolphins defense will hold and Ricky Williams will wear down the Jets for a Dolphin victory by a 10 point margin. I also like the no juice spread pick!

I also like the Tennessee Titans but I was waiting for the moneyline to come out.

Has anyone seen a Titans moneyline anywhere?

They rushed for a total of 66 yards against the Cardinals, averaging just 2.9 ypr. How is that an improved running game?

BigLou: I was didn't have the stats, my opinion was based on the Week 1 action that I saw. The Lions are not an amazing team by no means but I am banking on the Packers looking like fools at Lambeau Field. +250 is worth it. This game will be closer than people think. Harrington is hungry and the new coach gives the team new life. Brett who?

I adding Tampa Bay Buccaneers -9.5. The Panthers will not be able to score. Their QB won't he able to handle it against the Bucs defense. Bucs may not get many points but they will get their scores. Panthers might give up a plenty of turnovers.

I agree with that Bucs call. Panthers will be lucky to score a field goal.

Oren1: Sometimes the Bucs offense has a big game at Raymond James. They love playing in front of their home crowd and the offense looked great last week against the Eagles at the "Linc" so imagine at home against the Panthers.

yeah I think the Panthers are over-rated and the Bucs are going to crush them. Now I'm hearing that the Panthers defense is saying that they're better than the Bucs? As if Sapp needed more incentive to go out there and knock some heads off.

I missed it, when did the offense look GREAT? They scored two amazing TDs on great catches in the 2nd, they couldn't run the ball, they were able to drive in the 2nd half, but I wouldn't call it great. Then again you think Detroit has an improved running game (you know Stewart is hurt). Where are you getting this stuff

Blown Head Gasket Their offense played great because with the defense they have they are playing ball control. They were getting 1st downs. Keyshawn was catching his passes and Jurevicious was making spectacular grabs. McCardell didn't even touch the ball, this week he could play a major factor. The offense didn't look like a run and gun put up point after point but they were burning the clock. That's how you do it when you have the loudest talking defense in the NFL. Hell, they took the best offense in the league and put a strangle hold on them in the Super Bowl.

Bucs running backs are a 3 headed monster. They don't get tired and they didn't look good running the ball. They were getting small gains but that plays to their advantage because they are burning the clock.

Either which way, Bucs are Raymond James are going to show some offense. Watch and see.
