Kind of a chick flick but any of you guys see the movie "Wild?"

Wife talked me into it as she read the book and though it was great.

Basic premise is a girl loses her mom to cancer and didn't have a relationship with her father. She then really got into heroin and became a huge whore.

Decided then she would hike the Pacific Coast Trail to "find herself." That's a 1,000 mile hike boys from Mexico to Canada.

Based on a true story. Didn't think I'd like it but it turned out to be pretty decent. Stars Reese Witherspoon.

I liked it. Saw it when it came out. Shows her and getting rammed from behind for about 3 second clip. Good movie on top of that.

I saw it tonight didn't do a whole lot for me...a much better hiking, journey, trail movie is "the way" with martin sheen

I guess I'm in the minority here. I thought this was an incredibly overrated movie. And I usually love watching outdoor flicks.
