Kerry claims that if he's elected president he'll prevent all future attacks both inside the US and around the world.

This tells me that Kerrys interal polls and early voting exit polls are showing he's losing big. Look for Kerry to implode over the next week. Kerry may claim to have a cure for cancer and aids and if elected president he will give the information to us peons.

By the way ... Kerry weak on defv? The same stuff he voted on cutting was the same stuff Cheney wanted to eliminate when he was Sect of Defv!!! And in an interview in 1992 he was quoted as saying "losing American lifes was not worth the effort in trying to get rid of Hussein .."
Man, BOTH parties have taken politics to a new low and I look for rioting on the streets next week regardless of who gets into office ...

What is it with Politicians? Clinton could not admit he inhaled or had sex? Bush cant name one mistake he has made in office ??? (sorry, that cheap ass "bad appts" does not count since all the "bad appts" were good folks who quit over the frustration of working for President Cheney) ...

I think in all fairness that both camps are simply saying whatever they think they need to to get elected....typical campaign workings....

If these guys actually could deliver after the election all the crap they promised before getting voted in:

The national debt would have been gone decades ago.....
Taxes would have went down every year.....
Employment would be at a steady 100%.....
Cancer and aids and everything else that makes one weak and tremble would have been eliminated shortly after they started.....
Health care problems would have been wiped out decades ago.....
There would be a prison on every block and the stiffer sentences to go with them...
Everyone's social security check would be tripled.....
School teachers would have the same size paycheck as an athlete....

Unlike the world these crooked politicians promise, the world that I live on sees steady tax increases, rising health costs, inflation, and just plain not enough money to go around hence an out of control national debt.....this is the real world and thier hollow promises don't match up with the reality of life on planet earth.....

When was the last time since Mondale when a politician said that taxes were going to go up? Mondale comes out with this statement and everybody and God came out to vote against him.....he just had the balls to say what was realistically going to happen.......
