Can someone talk me out of taking Arkansas +10? They seem to be improving each week under Petrino. Their starting a bunch of young talent that seems to be maturing. They lost big to a few teams, but it turns out those teams are some of the best in the country....Alabama, Texas, Florida(see LSU last week).
Plus, Petrino is 4-0 vs Kentucky in his career. I see this game won either way by a TD at the most.

I like Arky in this spot as well. They have played Bama,Texas, and Florida, so I do not think they are as bad as people think. Hartline does not seem to have much chemistry with the young Wrs. To make matters worse, Kentucky's best WR, Lyons, is out for the year. Kentucky was awful on 3rd down last week 1-16. The Wildcat offense too sluggish to be laying more than a touchdown.

I completely agree. After the win last week the hogs have some confidence and are on the rise. Kentucky isn't all that good and they are very weak due to injuries at WR right now. 10 pts is to much in the SEC. I really like the play. Just curious where you are getting a 10 line??

i personally am on Kentucky, that +10 is to trap people in. The Kentucly defense is one of the best in the country and home.

I'm on Arky as well. Their defense is bad, but KY isn't exactly a scoring machine. I think Arky's O is getting better every week and beating Auburn is saying something because regardless of Auburn's offense, their defense is still very good. I think Arky will lose the game but it will be less than a TD.

I am an Arkansas fan and I think they lose and possibly lose big this weekend. They are getting better and probably have gained a lot of confidence but I would be concerned if betting on Arkansas that they out-gained Auburn by around 300 yards and won by three points. They were outgaining Florida at the half and were down 17-0. They seem to move the ball well but then end up making critical mistakes. Auburn's offense is absolutely horrible so I don't know if I can trust Arkansas' defense that much. Up until that game they were allowing around 10 yards per rush. Kentucky is not great offensively but should be more effective than Auburn. If I were playing it I would take Kentucky.

Wow - just saw this line is down to 7.5! I'm glad I got it at 10. If it makes it's way under 7 I will middle this game.

I think UK wins, but Arkansas will keep within 10 points.

I don't see UK crushing anyone the rest of the year ... their offense is awful.

I am something like 23-2 in picking UK games. I know and follow them hard. I will tell you straight up if they will lose (I did pick S.Carolina last week over them).

If you ever needed proof that the public bets based on the last game only this is the proof. Lets look at Arkansas this year. It took last minute comebacks to beat Western Illinois and Louisiana Monroe. They lost by 35 at home to Alabama, 42 at Texas and 31 to Florida at home. Then they played well and outgained Auburn by 300 yards and won by three points. Now, everyone is betting on Arkansas as an 8-10 point underdog. Strange to say the least.

Dont forget that Lyons is out for the year for UK.

Arky played UF pretty well on offense. UF shot themselves in the foot when they were on O. I was at that game and it was literally in doubt at the open of the 4thQ.

I think what people see - like myself - is an improving offense and utilization of Smith. I think people also see UK's best O and special teams threat out for the game. There's a lot to like for Arky, but at 10 not at 7.

I agree ... except Locke is our best special teams threat. He already ran one back. The only way we (UK) scores is off defense and special teams!

If you like Arkansas at +10 but not +7 then in my opinion you shouldn't like them much in this game. That is not that much difference. What are the chances that Arkansas loses between 7 & 10 or by 7 or by 10? Not that great. Likely, either Arkansas will win the game or not cover.

I know what line movement is but you can't say you love a play at +10 but hate it at +7. Not many games are going to fall between those two points. Go check out most single digit lined games and see that the vast majority of the time the team that covers wins the game ie either the underdog wins or loses by more than the spread. Kentucky is not even close to being a big public play by the "sheep" rather many people are betting Arkansas based solely off of their win at Arkansas. I say solely because there would be no other reason to bet Arkansas. They played decent against Florida but still lost big. My point is, Arkansas played great last week on offense and defense and outgained Auburn by a huge amount and still barely won. If they make the same mistakes this week they will not be so fortunate.

I like Kentucky to cover but not enough for me to play this week. If I had to be though I'd go with the Cats.
