That's what i was thinking. And a public promise means that it is seen
by everyone, so is less disputible than a private email. It would be
hard for anyone here to verify the authenticity of any private email,
since those kinds of things can be fabricated, falsified, doctored up.
And, as mentioned, an email could get lost in zillions of others to Ken.
