Freezing rain results in the worst playing conditions for the game of football. Turn-overs on offense including the special teams. Hell, even the defense after an interception or fumbler-recovery. This game could get ugly............

I can't bite on this. I agree, freezing rain would make the worst playing conditions but the game is still 48hrs away, a lot can change with weather. Currently i'm seeing .3 inches of precip (ice rain) in the morning but only .06 inches of precip (half rain/half ice) during the game. Is that enough to disrupt an offense? The opening total was right on, but line has moved 3 points down already.

Rain doesn't bother me when capping totals. Only wind / ice. (Unless it's tsunami type of rain).

For those of you that bite on the Under, BOL!

Rumors have many cancelling their trip to Arrowhead. It might have a near empty stadium.

[h=1]Chiefs-Steelers NFL Divisional Playoff Game Might Be Put on Ice by Winter Storm Jupiter[/h]https://weather.com/forecast/regional/news/nfl-playoffs-kansas-city-ice-storm-jupiter-jan-2017

[h=3]Game Day Forecast[/h]By Sunday morning, ice accumulations are expected to be enough to make any untreated roads, streets, sidewalks and parking lots in the Kansas City metro area hazardous. Power outages and some tree damage is possible, as well.
For now, Sunday's forecast has a threat of freezing rain early in the day, finally changing over to rain later. Whether that happens during the game is still somewhat uncertain at this point.

So, moving the game, are we avoiding the worst of the storm? Do we think the total starts to climb closer to the opener? I assume the crash was mostly a result of the anticipated weather.
