"Liberals saw the savagery of the 9/11 attacks and wanted to prepare indictments and offer therapy and understanding for our attackers.” These words uttered by Rove drove the lunatic left bonkers. But are they really that far off?

Rep. Dennis Kucinich (D-Ohio) has preposterously stated that “We cannot hope to end terrorism by killing terrorists.” Instead, his bright idea to fight terrorism is to reduce poverty worldwide.” Good thinking: The real way to win the War on Terror is to make terrorists richer! I think I’ll stick to killing them, Dennis.
<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o:p> </o:p>

Howard Dean, the Democratic Party’s own Chairman, believed that the War on Terror was to be fought out in the courts. "I've resisted pronouncing a sentence before guilt is found," he said. "I will have this old-fashioned notion that even with people like Osama [bin Laden], who is very likely to be found guilty, we should do our best not to, in positions of executive power, not to prejudge jury trials." That’s right: Osama needs a trial. Dean isn’t even entirely sure that Osama bin Laden is guilty (just “very likely to be found guilty…”)

It is also important to remember that practically no liberals support the war in <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" /><st1:country-region w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Iraq</st1:place></st1:country-region>. They will never learn. They get attacked by terrorists and lose three thousand American lives, and then think it is best to only retaliate against those who were directly involved in the specific attack. They want to continue living life in an <st1:country-region w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">America</st1:place></st1:country-region> in which we are attacked every few decades, seeing thousands of our citizens brutally murdered by wicked fanatics. When Americans die, then will they suddenly become anxious to attack only the exact attackers. Liberals don’t want to end terrorism permanently. They only go to war when thousands of Americans have already perished.

Karl Rove’s statements weren’t quite as outrageous as liberals think. A more truthful statement would have been that liberals responded to 9/11 by wanting to make sure it happened again. They supported Bush’s attack on the Taliban, but wanted to make sure </EM>that we went nowhere else. They wanted to attack our direct attackers, but not the people who be attacking us 10 years from now. They wanted to destroy Al-Qaeda, but not those who harbor them and support them. This is the essence of liberal’s position on the War on Terror: They are committed to making sure another 9/11 happens. They are committed to making sure that our future generations are killed in ruthless acts of violence. Their strategy against terrorism is this: Respond by doing as little as you must as quickly as you can.

Rove was right on, as usual. Liberals are hoping that rugged individualism based on conservatism is destroyed by whatever means necessary. If it's terrorism, so be it. It's true, and they know it.

Rove also spread lies about McCain in the 2000 SC primary and Cleland in the 2002 elections ...I guess he also "right on" then when he attacked courageous American war vets????

Rove is a Nazi ... oh, thats right ...his Grandfather was involved in devolping some of the gas chambers at a few of the death camps in Germany!!!

I love how the Right honors folks that personally attack war vets with outright lies ... class bunch of folks that make up the right in America

In an interview on NBC-TV's "Today" show, Mr. Bush vowed to stay the course in the war on terror, saying perseverance in the battle would make the world safer for future generations. But he suggested an all-out victory against terrorism might not be possible.

Asked "Can we win?" Mr. Mr. Bush said, "I don't think you can win it. But I think you can create conditions so that the — those who use terror as a tool are less acceptable in parts of the world."

Rove saw the savagery of 9/11 and said to himself, we (BushCo) can exploit the shit out of this to forward the PNAC agenda of invading Iraq.

Rove saw the savagery of 9/11 and said to himself, we (BushCo) can use this to keep the press from asking any tough questions.

Rove saw the savagery of 9/11 and said to himself, we (BushCo) can use this to paint anyone who questions us as unpatriotic.

Rove saw the savagery of 9/11 and said to himself, we (BushCo) can use this for some good ole fearmongering whenever it's in our interest.

Rove saw the savagery of 9/11 and said to himself, this is great for us (BushCo), this is the best thing that could ever happen.
