Lost again in court this week when she tried to get the Arizona Supreme Court to hear her appeal instead of going to the appellate court, which she had already appealed the dismissal of her case too. This is a bit of a weird story. So here's what happened. As we all know, on Christmas Eve, the judge dismissed all of Carrie Lake's claims, dismissed the whole lawsuit trying to overturn the Arizona election results because as the judge said, you've presented no evidence, you've made a lot of claims, a lot of them, and you've given us nothing to back up any of your claims. I have no choice but to dismiss it. So Carrie Lake then appealed it, you know, through the regular appellate process, it would go to the appellate court. And she did that. She filed it. But then I guess at some point, her and her legal team, who you know or been sanctioned, she's been sanctioned. The legal team is also likely to be sanctioned. Alan Dershowitz, who's a part of it, has actually asked to be excluded from the sanctions, like that story came out earlier the week and I find it hilarious cuz he is just like, Hey, uh, I know you'll probably gonna sanction us, would you mind just not sanctioning me? Like, that's not how it works, Alan. And you know that. But anyway, she didn't wanna wait for the appellate court to take up the case. So what she then did was she filed it with the State Supreme Court in Arizona and said, listen, I don't wanna wait for these guys. They're telling me it might not be till January 24th at the earliest that they can even hear Earl oral arguments. Oh hell no, I want y'all to hear it. And so this week the Arizona Supreme Court simply said, no. Why? Why, why would we do that? They smacked her down pretty hard. They said, quote, no good cause appears to transfer this matter to this court. Like you've shown no reason at all, is what they're saying, why we should handle this instead of that appellate court. Like there, there's, there's nothing in what you've said that would indicate that we need to even look at this. Like you're going through the process as you're supposed to. So why, why in the hell would we get involved? It almost seemed like these judges on the Arizona Supreme Court were confused by the fact that she would even try to place it in front of them, especially after one, as I said, the appellate Court already set a tentative date for oral arguments. And two, Katie Hobbs, the Democrat, has already been sworn in there. There's no legal mechan mechanism for Carrie Lake to become the governor now. Like it simply doesn't exist in Arizona law. Like even if Carrie Lake is somehow successful with her appeal, which ain't gonna happen, then what? Like that's the big question too, that nobody knows the answer to because it's not a thing that's ever happened and there's not anything in the law books that tell you what to do. So even if she wins, she still loses cuz she can't fix the situation. And of course, that's all hypothetical because we know she's not gonna win. If you didn't have evidence to show the lower court, I, I, I'm willing to bet you're not gonna have evidence to show the appellate court and you can appeal it from there once they smack it down too, which will happen.
