hilton isn't 100% and even if he was revis would contain him...colts shouldn't be able to run the ball either.

i guess you could say the jets might be overvalued defensively, or they might miss a step being on the road...but there might be concerns about the colts ability to score and their defense bends and breaks quite a bit

He's playing...

Colts wide receiver T.Y. Hilton (knee) will play in Monday night's game against the Jets, NFL.com reports.

he might be decoy.

unless the jets defense takes the night off and/or special teams/turn over points.... this game will could easily come down to the last possession with the outcome being decided.

very true, just don't have that much faith in Fitz and with Ivory not 100%, think the Colts get it done at home

I wonder how Ivory will do with that hamstring injury.

QB is a pretty big deal. Line movement suggests a Jets cover though.

That's a really good point. Ivory is going to need to be really productive and the Jets defense will need to be on their A++ game to stop Luck from going off on MNF. Luck normally plays really well at home and not as good on the road. I'm not so worried about the Jets winning this game as I am about them making this too close for me to cover with -6 on Colts. Starting to get cold feet on this one but I've backed out and regretted it before, so I'm going with my gut here. Staying with my Colts play.

Another aspect to this game I like is betting MNF home teams if I can get a decent line. I wasn't going to bet this game until line dropped to -6 and when it did I picked it up. Factor in that it is their first home game of the year and this one was a great pick for me.

One other trend that I've noticed is that people really like to bet on the Jets. They are no doubt better than last year, that's for sure. But how much better - not sure. BOL to both sides!

Good post. I can tell you right now that here in Houston, Fitzpatrick has lost his fair share of our games single handedly. I do not trust that guy with the ball. One thing I will go out of my way to do is not bet a team with a terrible quarterback unless the line is amazing. He was really bad in Houston if his recent season is any indicator of his future performance. This is a really tough line to cap and possibly the best play here is to not even bet it. I have some gamble in me so that's not an option! Ha.

Yes, I actually had Texans in mind as a case study. The 2014 Bills as well. How many points is Luck vs Fitz worth? Quite a bit. Luck has been bad in last two games (inc. AFCCG) but indoors and home, he should produce. Line movement scares me but already bet Colts. It is odd it went down despite the public team getting so many bets but this was true with the Bears yesterday and they were killed.

Week #2 in the NFL can be "bounce back" week more than trying to handicap talent match ups.

Case in point...Clev, Oakland, and Tampa Bay all bounced back for out right wins after looking horrible in week # 1 blow out losses.

Can't discount emotion until teams gel.

Tennessee came back to earth after week #1 blow out win.

Looking for the same type of thing with the Jets tonight. It's really hard to travel and play on Monday night this early, and after a blow out win.

Depends on the Colts being fired up and executing of course. It's not a slam dunk, but it's a good spot for Indy in my opinion.

whats up with the Texans brady? was surprised hoyer got the hook after 3 qtrs

I'm just as confused as Bill O is. Mallet looks like backup quality at best. Houston, we got a problem. I can't bet them this year until the QB situation gets fixed because it makes capping games a nightmare!

Mallett is better than Hoyer will ever be, so not surprised by the decision. What's wrong? The secondary gives up too many big plays, the defense looks confused a lot of times, they have no running game with Foster out, and right now the o-line is basically a patchwork line.

Now Mallett doesn't get off completely here. He's missing way too many easy throws. It's ridiculous that he had to throw like 58 times yesterday, that's way too many. He also looked like he was feeling the rush when it wasn't there at times. The o-line was non-existent yesterday and he was getting pressured and hit constantly.

I don't know what in the hell the Texans brass is thinking regarding the QB situation. I've suffered through watching the Oilers from around 1975 until they left, and now it's the same story with the Texans. I feel bad for anyone whose paying for PSL's and tickets. The customer is definitely not getting their moneys worth.

1st half played out bettr than expected..but being surprised should nobody... indy has been awful and the jets defense has been stern. getting a TD and being ahead of the 22 match ups by more than average mean @ over 2-1 means quite a bit.
