There have been days where I have been in much better moods. That’s put lightly. I suffered a gut wrenching loss last night and boy was it tough. Here’s the logistics: Started my bodog account at $583 yesterday morning. Generally deposit $100 a week and if I lose it I lose it, if I get up, I ride it out till Sunday night and cash out on Mondays. I am not a proffessional nor do I support myself in any way by gambling. I do it because I am obsessed with sports. Late Saturday night I was at the strip club with my brother. You know, watching games with some decent background sights and sounds. Pretty much getting smoked, fully expecting to wake up with no money in our account because we had messed around all Saturday and only got it to $150. No sooner does this chick from the Quad Cities sit down on my lap, I put in a first half bet on the Clippers for $150. It must have been the smell of Stale Cigarettes and some cheap ass stripper sauce that tilted our luck. We hit the 1st half bet, followed by a 2h double up bet aswell. Sweet Jesus, I am wasted and happily passing out to $583. Not bad eh?

Sunday morning rolls around, I am up reading the sports page around 8am. This hangover is of epic proportion. The last thing I remember is drinking some “Bomb” at 3:41 AM….My life hurts and its hurts bad. The only way to muster out of this is to take a ride on the peace train. With the last stop being sobriety I get off. Its now about 10:30 and I decide its time to let the fortunes fall as they may and get crazy. There’s no part of me that holds back, none, not one. I quickly fire on all cylinders and before I know it the At Risk feature reads $583. Threw it on 3, 8 team parlays each for $15 or $20. Put about $60 on some drivers in the Daytona 500, and the rest on 2, 3 team teasers. I’ll get straight to the point, I had the following two.

St. Johns +14
ND +5
ND Duke -8

Over 116
Mich -1
Virginia -2.5

Before I know it my balance is 0. The St. Johns “Johnnies” decided they’ll stay in the locker room at half and not show up to play in the 2h. Throw that in along with Cincinatti and Notre Dame deciding to let the Delaware High School Girls Basketball Tournament outscore them, I have 0$ left in my account. Its a pretty good feeling, let me tell ya. Best feeling in the world. I know if you are a fellow sports bettor reading this you have been there before so I cant get to upset, I did it to myself. That’s when I log into my account and see there’s a lonely $5 still available because of some Blackjack Bonus, so I throw in a 10 team parlay. I have plans with the lady friend tonight so what better way to let the account get back to its familiar position.

Here’s the following parlay that I placed at 3:15:

And all the sudden my weekend is about to take the most dramatic turn in my sports betting career. The afternoon of basketball plays out perfectly. I pay attention to game after game on my phone as they slowly check off the list. Before I know it, its 7pm and my girlfriend decides its a good time to go bowling. Besides still feeling like dog shit, I lovingly agree. If anything it will keep my mind off the fact I have an open parlay thats now down to 3 games. Spurs -8.5, Portland -2 and Over 195 OKC. The Spurs and Portland decide to take care of business for me, leaving the late game on ESPN to be the decision maker between a $5 dollar bill and a cool $2,800. Of course I would still be on a bender if the game had hit and wouldn’t be taking the time to blog so you already know the game lost. It wasn’t even close, The Chicago Bulls inability to score without Derek Rose in the lineup cost me a lot of money. The Bulls shot under .250 and the Thunder under .350. It was garbage basketball at its finest. There are a few things I learned from what happened yesterday. One is the fact that I will no longer be placing wagers, nearly hitting a 10 team parlay and turning $5 into $2800 goes to show anything can fucking happen. And as soon as you give the chance for anything to happen, It will. Secondly, I realized that sports are controlled by how referees decide to call the game. That’s the part that no matter how much research you do, what trends you follow, what touts you fade and what cappers you tail you have absolutely zero control over. I wrote this because I felt as though it was too good to be kept to myself. I hope you realize I know I am a true gambler, I do it for entertainment only not to get rich or for a living. I do it as a hobby that I can afford to lose at.

In Honor of the Bulls inability to score, please leave a peaceful Fuck You Joakim with your comments. Happy Betting Friends

Happy Monday Guys and Gals,
Today’s picks:
Iowa State +1.5
Moneyline Marketers view on game:

Cyclones dont lose at home, Its as simple as that. ISU has continually played well against the Jayhawks. They had a 9 point lead late in Lawerence this year and I fully expect them to redeem that epic meltdown tonight. Hilton will be rocking. Iowa State 77 Kansas 72
Marquette +1.5
Moneyline Marketers view on game:

Syracuse looked bad Saturday, their offensive production was at an all time low. Take Marquette at home. They will smother the Cuse weak offense. Marquette 58 Syracuse 54
Kansas State Under 138
Moneyline Marketers view on game:

I realize Tech has a weak defense and the Wildcats are cruising, but come on man. There’s no way there putting up 138 tonight guys. Kansas St 77 Texas Tech 59.
Lakers +7
Moneyline Marketers view on game:

Tough Sunday for LA followed by alot of travel has this line where its at for a reason. I however am going to bet LA alot this 2h of the season as I believe KOBE when he says they are a playoff team. Valuable money to be made if they actually do hold true to their promises.
Hawks/Pistons Under 195
Read my blog from this morning. 195 is alot of points, and I have a hatred for this fucking number. Take the under…Trust me
See ya guys tomorrow. Happy Betting
