On a side note, since the price of oil is increasing, does this mean the economy is surging? You see, I can never keep up with how theses silly little variables are supposed to interact with each other.

That is Connecticut taxes doing that to you. Right over the border there can sometimes be a 25-cent jump per gallon and it always gets even worse going south. How are the roads there? Do they at least put the money to some use, unlike pothole central around here?

The only way around this here issue if to full your gas tank up only half way. This way you pay 50% less on each trip to the pump. Hope this helps.

Or move to GA where we have the 2nd LOWEST gas taxes, not sure who is #1 I think it maybe Alaska.
