washington never stood a chance in that series. there was no way if possible that those referees throughout that series were going to let it happen. early in tonights game, Arenas was called for pushing off with his lead arm on a drive to the hoop. later on, James did one of his patented split the double team on an admittedly nice drive to the hoop for a bucket and got away with pushing off and/or holding with his lead arm twice. Reverse that situation, and Cleveland is a basket short and Arenas has two FT's coming and there probably isn't an OT. I felt James travelled on his game winning shot in game 3 in Washington and you could probably have a debate on the one in game 5 although that one looked legit by today's lax rules. These are just a couple of instances where Cleve. got the benefit of the doubt IMHO. An anology of what i mean is like in a prize fight. to fix a prize fight, you don't have to be blatant about it. All you have to do is have the judges give all the close ones to the same guy and it's done. Oh well, congrats to the Cavs and their backers and too bad for the Wizards.
