Cornelius is #7 on the list
Welcome to NASCAR LAND>>>>>>>>>>>>>
It's not a bad area...not far at all from Lake Norman where all the ladies hang out come summer time.
Not far at all from Davidson........
He was going to Buy a place in Huntersville, NC
But backed out and Bought one in Cornelius, NC
Anyone Know the Town ? Is it Nice ?
I know almost Nothing about NC
traffic...terrible almost unbearable...town itself is great place for young and old alike and great place to raise family or retire...some very nice homes and neighborhoods..i visit there about 1 time a week...
also grew up 15 miles from there and everything has changed except roads...a lot of that has to do with the lake,i guess when a lot of land is underwater you have to get creative building roads..
as someone mentioned right next door to davidson, about 1 mile...pretty and rich women everywhere...both young and cougars..
some facts about lake norman... 34 miles long and at places 8 miles wide...summertime it is hard to even navigate or fish due to so many boats on the water(last year we caught a break due to high gas prices)
INLAND SEA...
Lake Norman, created between 1959 and 1964 [1] as part of the construction of the Cowans Ford Dam by Duke Energy, is the largest manmade body of fresh water located entirely within North Carolina.[2] It is fed by the Catawba River. It was named after former Duke Power president Norman Cocke. Lake Norman is sometimes referred to as the "inland sea"; it offers 520 miles (840 km) of shoreline and a surface area of more than 50 square miles (130 km2). Full pond elevation at Lake Norman is 760 feet (230 m)...

BUT, if I had to I always thought I'd like NC, or Tenn.! Lots of Lakes, rivers etc., and wooded areas. Love the outdoors & fishing. A non western area I love is the Ozarks, like N. Mn, except they are also mountainous. What're price ranges in that area for 2500/3000 ft home? Best of luck to your family.
