Just a horrible pick with N. Tex...

N. Tex is so uncompetitive in this game it is sickening. I really liked N. Tex and the over given S. Miss had no time to prepare for this game and had finals last week, but that did not matter at all!

I may have to rethink my entire handicapping given this debacle. Hell, anyone that thought for a moment N. Tex. was the right side should rethink their handicapping or even get their head examined.

I should have know N. Tex and the over was the WRONG side the moment Phil Steele and Northcoast released 3 stars on this garbage pick.

Congrats to all who had S. Miss and the under.

Don't beat yourself up, ppeter. There were trends supporting UNT: They were 8-0 ATS to finish out the season, they were getting points, they have the #2 rusher in the nation, and you were SMART not to pick a team just because they are favored or from a "stronger" conference.....it didn't work out this time, but that philosophy will help you through the rest of the bowl season. I think you'll see a similar game when Louey and Boise hook up. Like NT last nite, Boise will face a much better defense and far superior athletes then what they faced all year. That step up in class is a killer for the smaller guy and think that Louisville wiill cover their number also with room to spare. GL with the rest of the bowls PP
