June 30th WTA Semis

IMO davenport and maria are on a collision course for the finals here...davenport has been playing brilliant tennis and i cant see amelie beating her in this semi final. Davenport has own mauresmo, 8-3 lifetime, and hasn't lost to Mauresmo since 2000. The two have never met on grass but I believe Davenport is just playing too well right now, I like her to win in 2 sets, going to bet on 2-0 and parlay her with Sharapova as well. Sharapova owns 2-0 h2h over venus both on hardcourts in 2 sets. The defending champ will want to get back to the finals and venus is playing pretty good but I don't see her playing the big points well enough in this match. Venus will have to serve well and big, and cut down on the loose points and not give Sharapova easy points by commiting unforced errors.

agree with all you said

BUT

history shows us this is where Davenport does what she does best

if this was 2 rounds ago - i'd be with ya

but knowing "Choken-port" gags in the Semis or Finals - NO WAY i can lay this much wood with her - NO WAY

the ONLY way i could even think about playing this is with Mauresmo

i will pass - hope Davenport wins so i can unload on Sharapova in the finals

hey man, i agree w what you said, but if there is another player who chokes ALOT its Mauresmo, she never comes through in the majors and today will be no different, i think she get blitzed off the court

Exactly the plays I would have made ......

Winky is right about the Moose being a choker but I think Big Mo has her beat in that department ..... The battle of the chokers.....goes to Moose - I hope.
