I've seen back-to-back homeruns in baseball. But, have there been any with 3 or even 4 players hitting homers right in a row?? Last night I was playing High Heat 2003 for PS2 and I did this with my 8,9 and 1st spot - R. Valarde, A. Soriano and D. Jeter. I was wondering if this has happened in real life???
Dumb question, just curious.

NL: Braves go back-to-back-to-back

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

By The Associated Press

ATLANTA - Gary Sheffield, Chipper Jones and Andruw Jones hit consecutive home runs in the sixth inning Monday, leading the Atlanta Braves over the Florida Marlins 3-0.

Russ Ortiz (1-1) won his first game for Atlanta, allowing three hits in seven innings and combining with three relievers on a five-hitter.

Florida loaded the bases in the eighth off Roberto Hernandez, and Kevin Gryboski got Ivan Rodriguez to ground into a double play. John Smoltz pitched the ninth for his second save.

Carl Pavano (0-2) gave up the homers.

I can't recall 4 straight, although it wouldn't surprise me if it's happened.

Wow, just this past year, I missed it. That's pretty amazing, I knew you guys would have quick answers. I don't recall ever seeing this in a game or even catching highlights on ESPN or anything.
Thanks.

Grande,
The problem is on my side. I have to deploy a new code patch - your lines should be fixed within the hour.

Thanks for the heads up.

Thats how people from kentucky pronounce SOUTH POLE.............

Baseball diamonds were often arranged so the batters would face east, to avoid looking into the afternoon sun. The pitcher's left hand, or paw, would therefore be on the southern side.

I was at a game in the late fifties with my dad and grandfather at Forbes Field in Pittsburgh. Pirates were playing the Braves. First four Braves each hit a homerun to start the game. Think it is the only time that has happened.

Players were (I think) Eddie Matthews, Del Crandall, Hank AAron. Cannot remember the fourth. Was probably 1957 or 1958, not really sure.

I like how they call Lefty's "Crafty" Yet there is no such thing as a crafty righty,lol...Think about that one...

I will have to think of a good 'Crafty Righty'...Hmm...I have to go...

Some Crafty Lefty's ; Mike Cuellar (Balt) Scotty McGregor (Balt)
Frank Tanana (later years)

Can anyone think of a good crafty righty?

Mike Boddicker was pretty crafty when he was in his prime ( about 3 years)
