Interesting note, Jose was traded to Texas in Auguust of 1992 as I remember it well....

Take a look at Raffy's stats before The Chemist arived and after :digit:

Raffy's 6 years prior to meeting The Chemist 6yrs 95 HR's

Raffy's next 12 years after meeting The Chemist 12 yrs 455 HR's

interesting

What Happens when

His book is published and he has pictures of him and these other guys injecting stuff in their arms??? Has to have somthing as proof or he is looking at some lawsuits. His broke a** can't afford to fight them. He is broke as Sh)T. I know the lady that used to manage his money and she said he blew it as fast as it came in. He made hugh withdraws daily. Wonder what for????
I wonder if he mentions the 92 Astros in his book. Lets see Caminiti,Bagwell,Finley,Luis Gonzalez all are juicers.

As I've said before, Fred McGriff was the greatest natural power hitter of the 80s and 90s. Anyone else above him on career home run lists or season leaders was juicing.

If you can find someone who you feel this is untrue of please step forward with their name.

Look at it unbiased and I think you will see all of the names have serious question marks associated with them:

Bonds
Sosa
McGwire
Palmeiro
Bagwell
Giambi

the list goes on and on.

GD, I pretty much agree but I can almost assure you Eddie Murray was not a juicer...

Crime Dog and Eddie , neither one of them had significant body changes, or stats for that matter , very similar... consistently great players ...

I think that.

Luis Gonzalez has to be one of the easiest player to pick out. I am in Houston where he got his start so for me it is real easy see him turn into the machine he is today. Look back at his pictures he was nothing now he looks like a horse.
Yes the list is long. Just waiting for the a photo of Canseco and Mcgwire Juicing each other. Back when the Bash brother as they were called got going Steriods was a big thing in Socal. I had a friend High School goto USC and he told me of story of the players doing it right before they went to class standing behind a tree. Back then no one thought to much about it. At 1st he thought they were just doing drugs in Public. Went out there for a weekend and seen alot of crazy stuff I never seen in Houston. Remeber this was about 86 or 87. I took my kid to school the other day and 2 girls were making out right in front of the school cant remeber seeing that when I was in High School. But I would of like too.

Like Journey man said: Brady Anderson was probably on something the year he hit 50, then went into oblivion. I hope this let's people understand what decent numbers McGriff put up without chemicals. All these recent records are beginning to look very suspicious.

I know Eddie is one of your faves, I was not grouping him because I consider him more of a 70s 80s star than a 80s and 90s. Going strictly by when they broke in, I'd group Eddie with Robin Yount, Brett, and Trammell and Whitaker.

Eddie and Freddie have almost identical career numbers and I truly believe Eddie getting into the HOF as a boost to Freddie's chances.

In no way did I mean to group Eddie Murray in with the abusers, I completely agree that he was natural.

No question Brady was 'experimenting'....

I think we're going to see a fallout when it comes time to vote these guys into the Hall...not only them but what about the players who drove in these guys, all the games sacred records are seriously tainted from about 1995 on...

Are McGwire, or Sosa or Palmiero first ballot HOF'ers? I just can't see it...

McGwire was Dave Kingman on Steroids plain and simple....

All these players who hit 500 Homers legitimately would have hit upwards of 700 homeruns....

Mantle, McGriff, Murray , Reggie, Schmidt, McCovey, Williams, Banks etc...

Scary thought , can you imagine a guy like Mantle on Juice ? He probably would have been first in line as irresponsible as he was to his body...Mantle would have hit 80 homers in Yankee Stadium on steroids.. ..Or Reggie?? please...

I think McGwire, Sosa and Bonds are the ones lying. Put an asterisk by their season HR records. None of them would've passed Maris without the help of steroids.

IMO, Brett Boone was using steroids a few years back.

I wonder if baseball would ever put an asterisk next to all the records set before 1995? I seriously doubt it, but like all other sports now the records are igsignificant..

Baseball was the one sport that the records maintained their integrity over 100 yrs....not like other sports where significant rule changes made it much easier to attain certain achievments, but now that is pretty much ruined...

The HR Canseco hit at Skydome in the playoffs was the hardest hit ball Ive ever seen.

There is no doubt he is telling the truth about most of the stuff.

One thing nobody mentions is the confidence that steroids give you. Not only are you stronger you are much more confident of yourself. That gives you a huge edge.

The ball at the Skydome..LOL I will never forget Tony Kubek's befuddled call of that homer... he just kept mumbling " Oh My'....What a moon shot!

Even creatine which was all the craze 6-7 years ago gives a big edge to players...Creatine, will increase your bench press strength without exaggeration 15% in a month...
